Personal Description:

I am a post doctoral scientist (in research). I have a Bsc in Biochemistry and PhD in medicine. I really enjoy my work and am fortunate to use my experience and skills to tutor. A lot of the research I carry out is related to most of the topics that are covered in A levels so I am familiar and able to translate new concepts to students.



Teaching Experience:

I was registered with an agency about 4 years ago and had at one point about 12 students on a regular basis, some I visit about 2-3 times a week. Now I prefer to work my own hours and choose clients as I have gained more teaching experience and I know that I can help to improve exam technique and grades.



Tutoring Approach:

I am a friendly and easy going individual. I was also an A level student once asking all sorts of questions and not knowing how the modules are link together. As I've taught a variety of student's I've also learnt ways to help each individual understand modules and concepts and I feel that exam technique is also the key to academic success.
