Personal Description:

I have a BA Hons in English Literature and a PGCE F.Ed.
I am currently studying for an MA in Classical Studies.
I have worked for many years teaching students at GCSE and GCE level to students of all ages.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught GCSE and GCE English Literature for 12 years.
I have been a senior examiner for both GCSE and GCE English Literature for approximately 6years and an examiner for 8.
I have also tutored students privately for many years.

Tutoring Approach:

I adopt a student led approach to tuition. I work with the student to identify areas which need to be developed. I tend to leave written tasks for learners to complete in their own time as the time we have together is more usefully spent in dialogue and exploration of text.

• PGCE F.ED.
• Post Grad Dip Forensic Psychology
