Tutoring Approach:

Through my experience in teaching I have enhanced my communication skills, planning and organisational skills. I am able to produce lesson plans that are both stimulating and creative, allowing the lessons to be enjoyable, work-orientated and successfully managed. I enjoy delivering lessons that are based on active leaning and group work, as I believe that many students learn best through 'doing', rather than just seeing and listening and also through collaborative work alongside their own peers. Educating individual pupils requires understanding and in turn planning for their personal development socially, morally, spiritually and culturally. I believe in order to achieve this successfully, requires respect and understanding of a pupil's background and integrating this with their experiences within the classroom. Having a class with a diverse ethnic mix provides a rich source of learning opportunities for the group as a whole. I thrive on the opportunities of working with a wide range of cultures, ethnicities and abilities.
