Adam - Liverpool tutor

Information About Adam:

Personal Description:

I am currently working as a PDRA at the University of Liverpool after finishing my PhD at the same institute in engineering, a heavily maths and physics orientated subject. I currently tutor between 10 and 20 hours per week depending upon the time of year.
I hold a full enhanced CRB disclosure which is available on request as are a list of references. For the last 4 years I have been especially busy preparing tutees for the Blue Coat entrance exam.

Teaching Experience:

I have been tutoring for seven years, since the beginning of my undergraduate degree. I started by tutoring friends of the family which sprouted into a small network of tutees. This experience laid the foundations to begin teaching classes at the university.
I have a large number of past and satisfied pupils who I can give details of for references. Many of whom where sourced through agencies who charge a pricey commission!
Most of my experience is through working with Blue Coat applicants, KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-level applicants. However, I have also helped to prepare candidates for several different school and military scholarships. I would suggest calling for more details.

Tutoring Approach:

I enjoy a highly industrious relationship with my tutees. The single greatest advantage of private tuition, in my mind, is that it can be tailored to suit the needs of the individual. For this reason I will be happy to come along for a free half hour consultation with no obligation.
