Personal Description:
I have enjoyed the benefits of special tutoring throughout my career with some amazing results. Doors have opened and I have met great people.
Personal Development Education has given me the chance to work at a level I could not have imagined.
Teaching Experience:
With over 20 years experience in teaching in adult and community based learning, on a personal level and in Colleges, Schools and occasionally Universities, there is a wealth of knowledge, skill and fun behind the face.
I also write and edit qualifications, design materials and develop programmes for training providers, in Citizenship, Business Skills, Essential Skills for life and a range of specific topics. I love to learn and enjoy the opportunities to support learning.
Tutoring Approach:
Learning is fun. Whilst a serious goal is always set the journey is always tailored to the needs of the Tutee.
I use a simple milestone approach, celebrate achievement whenever we can and find practical ways of using the new found knowledge in everyday situations.
The fees are kept reasonably low and access to support is always negotiable.
