Information About Kodo:


Personal Description:

I am a freelancing pianist/musician, working mainly as a performer and a piano/theory teacher. I have a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Music with Distinction, and I have been awarded several prizes and awards as a performer at both national and international level.



Teaching Experience:

I have worked as a peripatetic theory and piano tutor in schools, and I also teach pupils privately on a regular basis.



Tutoring Approach:

My main approach is to make the lessons as enjoyable and interesting as possible, because this is really what drives them forward to want them to know more.
In the case of teaching piano for example, I always try to find the pupils' taste in music so that I can cater for their tastes and bring materials that they would enjoy playing.
