Personal Description:

Hi all!

I'm currently studying translation at Leeds University and my first degree in China is Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. Native Chinese-speaker with standard accent, also fluent English, I'm easy going, patient and highly responsible. I very much enjoy language-teaching and see it as a professional career!



Teaching Experience:

Miracle Mandarin: Chinese tutor, teaching Chinese as a foreign language in a multicultural environment

Round Table Academy (Intern):
Duties Included:
Assisting with teaching Chinese as a foreign language, translating some commercial documents, organizing and arranging interviews with students and prospective clients, marketing, etc



Tutoring Approach:

Practical-oriented teaching approach, tailered to students' individual needs.
Always create a real-life environment for students to practise.
Simplify Mandarin grammar and linguistic structure with vivid examples.
Interesting topics included (eg. China's cultural, social, business environment)
Preferably, Mandarin is the medium language in class. But of course English's also used at beginner's level or if necessary.
