Personal Description:
I have recently retired from teaching which I love.
Teaching Experience:
I have over 30 years teaching experience in Junior,Middle, First and Infant Scools.
I specialize in Mathematics, Reading, Spelling and Writing. I have taught children of all abilities including those who need extra help, those with specific difficulties such as dyslexia and able children. I have also been involved with KS 2 Sats and KS1 Sats and teaching for entrance exams.
I have also taught basic skills to adults.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that individual tuition should be organised to deal with the specific needs of the pupil being tutored. It should improve their ability, knowledge, confidence, experience, organisation and not least their enjoyment in the subject being tutored. This needs preparation, knowledge, patience and encouragement from the tutor.
