Information About Andie:
Personal Description:
I am a 28 year old female Events Manger. I have lived in London for 4 years, before which I lived abroad in Italy and Spain. I tutor in my spare time, and usually meet my students at a mutually convenient location and tutor over a cup of coffee ot two!
Teaching Experience:
I was educated at Cambridge University - I read English Literature and History of Art. Once I graduated, I gained a CELTA certifcate in teaching English as a foreign language. I have worked as an editor of documents, theses and essays for a number of years. I worked as an editor for the United Nations in Rome and the London School of Economics in London. I currently tutor and give essay help in my spare time - I work as an Events Manager.
Tutoring Approach:
I enjoy tutoring as it enables me to keep in touch with acedemia now I am working in the Events Industry. I enjoy meeting new people and helping them to achieve their potential. I am flexible and like to teach in quite an informal, friendly manner - giving my students the means to find answers themselves, and hopefully to gain confidence in their own styles of learning and writing.
