Information About Emma:


Personal Description:

I am a reliable, intelligent and patient 17 year old, who has just passed AS level French at a high A grade and is predicted likewise for A2 levels.
I attend Uppingham School and hope to pursue my interests next year by studying French, Italian and Spanish at university.
I would be happy to help students from primary school up to GCSE level in French language.

Teaching Experience:

I have had previous experience of mentoring and tutoring students younger than myself who were struggling to keep up at school, but who have now progressed with more confidence and understanding of the subject.



Tutoring Approach:

The most important issue, in my opinion, is creating a keen interest in the French language and culture, which will encourage the student to want to progress in their studies for themselves, as well as to pass tests and exams with the highest mark possible. I understand that often a one-on-one session can do a world of good with problems overlooked in a classroom situation and I aim to encourage tutees, increasing confidence and achievement equally.
