Personal Description:
I am a qualified secondary Modern Languages teacher, but also have experience of teaching younger pupils too. Naturally, I am very enthusiastic about the benefits of learning a language and I enjoy motivating my students, using a variety of strategies in order to engage people with different learning styles.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught Modern Languages in mainstream secondary schools for 3 years and have also taught English as a Foreign Language to French and Italian children of primary age, both in classes and privately, in their respective countries. I currently tutor a Year 11 pupil privately for GCSE French.
Tutoring Approach:
On a one to one basis or in small groups, people receive the individual attention that they would not get in a large class and therefore progress more quickly. Lessons are planned to suit the individual's ability to help them achieve their personal goals. It is important that students feel that they are learning and are enjoying the sessions.
