Personal Description:
I live in Colchester with my wife. At present I work part time for the local government and rest of the time I work at the University supporting International Students. Having been a school teacher before I carry out private tutoring as I enjoy teaching young people and adults.
My educational background is in Engineering and hold a Bachelors degree from King's College London and a PhD from University of Essex.

Tutoring Approach:
I believe all children should find Mathematics and Science interesting, challenging and fun. I work towards pushing young people to reach their full potential and not be content with just passing exams. For example, if a student is hoping to get 'C' at GCSE Maths, I will work with the child to achieve at least a 'B'. Students happy with 'A' would be expected to aim for 'A*'!
I find teaching subjects and relating it to real live through practical examples important to stimulate a child's interest to the subject. I'm a firm believer of home work and expect my students to complete all home work that is set.
