Personal Description:
I studied at Oxford University for four years and graduated with a Masters in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry. Since then I have been teaching students ages 11-16 in a Secondary School in London.
Teaching Experience:
I am a qualified teacher and have a years experience teaching biology, chemistry and physics for pupils age 11-16. I am experienced in preparing students for public examinations including SATS and GCSEs.
Tutoring Approach:
I take a skills based approach to learning, whereby my pupils need to be able to learn several important skills to be able to answer exam questions effective. I am strict in making sure that pupils understand the underlying concept so that they can apply their understanding to different problems. I also take a step-by-step approach to teaching and believe that good foundations are important to build a solid understanding for scientific concepts
