Personal Description:

Hi,

My name is Elise, I am a 23-year old French native speaker who now lives in Luton. I have been living and working in England for a year and am fluent in English.
Moreover I have two degrees in Economics and International Business.

Teaching Experience:

I have been giving French tuition since August to various people with very different levels.
I have been working for the French Club since September whose aim is to go to schools to teach the basics of French to children aged between 5 and 11. Consequently I am CRB checked.
I also currently give private lessons to children and adults at any levels. I also have two degrees in International business for a more specific approach of French.

Tutoring Approach:

I have a flexible approach to tutoring whether it is for a general improvement or a more specific professional/personal need.
Concerning my approach to tutoring with children, I think learning French must remain something they enjoy. That is the reason why I introduce them to the basics of French through games, songs and fun. In this way, they can learn and enjoy at the same time.
On the other hand, I give preference to exercises and talks for students and adults. Because I think the most efficient way to learn French as a foreign language is to have a French tutor, I try to have as many conversations as possible with the persons I give lessons to.

Qualifications:

• 2002-2004: 2-year higher technical diploma in Sales and Marketing Techniques.
• 2004-2007: Degree in Business Administration: final year of a 3-year programme which alternates intensive course work with placements in France and abroad and which prepares students for a career in International Business. Specialization in marketing.
• French native speaker.
• Fluent in English: TOEFL score in 2005: 567.TOEIC score in 2006: 850.
