Personal Description:
I'm a very travelled individual who has experienced a wealth of cultures. I'm also young and active in terms of sport, hobbies and activities. Some of which are having climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain, obtaining a Silver Duke of Edinburgh award and a number of other achievements. I obtained four 100% in my A-level exams and had a physics average mark of 96% in all six papers. However, more importantly, my interaction with children is very special as my youth and previous experiences allows me relate to them.
Teaching Experience:
I've tutored a number of students in London before, all of whom were very pleased with my style and method of teaching. A number of them managed to lift their grades up significantly, an example would be my previous student who obtained a D in his mock GCSE exams and managed to obtain a B in his final exams. I used to teach part time on weekends only and it still had a significant effect on the student.
Tutoring Approach:
I have a radical approach to teaching. I believe if you ignite imagination in the students mind when introducing new concepts and also by relating them to everyday activities, it becomes easier to understand. In addition, motivation is also very important and you have to build it in the student by slowly making them feel confident in their abilities.
