New: Ideal for crash course GCSE/A Levels: 10% off 6 lessons paid in advance (save some money with help on the way!
I teach at my pupils' places or online.
I do believe my pupils feel more familiar, relaxed and comfortable within their own premises. I hold a CRB - well, 3 in fact: one from an agency, 2 from Middlesex University (the latest issued in Feb2011).
I am available afternoons and weekends, and sometimes morning, but I do charge 50% of the tuition fee if no two- working day's cancellation notice is given.
Important note
The good news is that now I am in the position to recruit tutees in: Enfield, High Barnet and Southgate areas.
I would like to take the opportunity to be thankful to all my tutees and their parents who have trusted me as a good choice for their/their children's education; remind them that, when in doubt, they may contact me by e-mail free of charge.
Teaching Experience:
I've been tutoring and translating since 2nd year of University, have had native teachers for both English and French and am currently in contact with Spanish Language Meetup Groups. I taught abroad (2 years-ages 11-17) and have been tutoring in the UK for different agencies and independently since 2007.
I graduated abroad and I'm already a qualified teacher according to the EU Criteria. I hold a degree in MFL - English major, French-minor and Cambridge Proficiency Certificate. On top of that, I am doing PGCE MFL, in order to add Spanish, which has been my life hobby, and have completed my first school experience at a Secondary School, being referred by Middlesex University MFL PGCE Department.

'Liliana Stoica (Lilly) had tutored my son (10 years) in English for over a year.
She is very good with teaching children in making them understand grammar, vocabulary and teaching them how to comprehend.
She also focuses on spelling, helping children to read with confidence.
My son did his 11+ exams at Parmiter's and QE boys last year. He is on the waiting list in both schools. He scored a lot more in English then I had expected. He did very well in verbal reasoning.' - Mrs Gita Halai - Paavan's mum (11+ Exam)

Tutoring Approach:
I am a young, patient and enthusiastic tutor who loves teaching and sharing knowledge. Our common advantage is that I am actually a self-taught polyglot, that is, I have taught myself languages from scratch on top of private tuition, which enables me to insist more upon spelling and pronunciation, use of language and culture, combining various methods and strategies by which I personally was able to acquire language and literature knowledge. I believe in interactive teaching using modern methods such as role-play, debates or simulation. Also increasing the student's motivation and self-confidence is equally important.
Personal Message to Students
Learning can be fun with entertaining resources and ,as one of my dear teachers once told me: 'The better you are prepared, the easier your exam questions will be'
Best of luck!
Bonne chance!
!Le deseo "Mucha Suerte"!
To parents/guardians
My lessons never last one hour, which is why I will need you to spare 2 hours for tuition and little updates, as I care a lot for my pupils' success and keep close connection to their parents/guardians.
