Personal Description:
I am twenty-eight years old and currently studying to become an opera singer. I have a degree in languages (Russian and German) from Oxford University, and have been working as a full-time secondary school teacher for the past four years.
Teaching Experience:
I have a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages and Qualified Teacher Status.
I taught Russian and French for one year at Bolton School Boys' Division in 2003-2004, and Russian and German for three years at Winchester College from 2004 - 2007. I have experience of teaching pupils aged 9 - 18, and have taught GCSE and A-level, as well as prepared candidates for Oxbridge Entrance.
Tutoring Approach:
As a teacher I always aim to make lessons fun and interesting as well as informative, and with foreign languages I try to teach so that pupils really understand how the language works, and so learn how to use it freely themselves.
