Information About Ian:


Personal Description:

I have worked with children and young people in various contexts in London since 1976.I graduated with honours in film and photographic arts and have a PGCE in English and Media studies from the University of London Institute of Education; completing my NQT in 1988. Since then I have taught full time in inner London schools. I am the father of two mixed race teen aged children, a son and a daughter, with whom I live and to whom I have been a dedicated and supportive parent, and from whom I have learned much.



Teaching Experience:

Twenty years teaching English in London secondary schools. Four years Head of Year at Westwood College Bexley.



Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is Child Centred.
