Personal Description:
I am a native Spanish teacher, I have been living in Bristol for the past nine years and I enjoy teaching Spanish enormously.
I teach Spanish privately at all leves and ages and I also run my own Spanish, the next one starts on January 25th for beginners for ten weeks.
I am reliable, hard working and punctuality is very important to me.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching privately for more than twenty years to both English and Spanish learners in Spain, Austria and Bristol.
I have experience with school level language, university students and adult education.
Tutoring Approach:
I take time to prepare the lesson very meticulously, as I believe that saves time and gives a professional and more confident image of the teacher.
I try to divide the lesson into parts, introduction - brief chat about journey to work, weekend activities, or any light personal detail, then the main part of the lesson - grammar, conversation, explanation,... followed by exercises and finish lesson with perhaps a game, role play or a lighter activity.
Communication is vital and I do not move on to the next level or lesson until everyone is comfortable with what has been learnt.
I have completed the teaching qualification PTLLS at Bristol City College, where my techniques and resources have been thoroughly checked to satisfaction.
