Information About Alexandra:


Personal Description:

I am a graduate of English Language and Literature also with a qualification from the Royal Academy of Music and a recent MSc in Neuropsychology. I am an academic high flyer, with experience working with people of all ages and abilities (including those with learning and physical difficulties). I am currently employed as a Special Educational Needs teacher at a primary school in Richmond, and tutor a number of children part time in school related subjects as well as piano and cello.



Teaching Experience:

I have taught music (theory, cello and piano) for 8 years, and coach for 11+, GCSE and A-Level exams. I provide academic support for primary school aged students (in particular numeracy and literacy), and I also have experience with children with Down's Syndrome, ADHD, Global Delay, and Autism.



Tutoring Approach:

I am enthusiastic and encouraging, and believe in catering to the individual. Different people respond to different approaches. I am extremely dedicated, and will ensure that you get the results you want, while also having fun.

Qualifications:

  • BSY Qualification with Honours in Speech Therapy
  • A-Levels in Music (A), English (A), and French (B), and 10 GCSEs all with A* or A
