Information About Annita:
Personal Description:
I am an enthusiastic person, very motivated and like to provide students with the tools to do the best job possible with their work. I, myself am a Psychology graduate and also hold a Masters in Social Work.
As a qualified social worker I have worked with adults and children with learning disabilities so I am very patient and have good communication skills. In addition, I work part time at the University of Portsmouth as a support worker for students.
Teaching Experience:
I have teaching experience with people of different ages- in addition I have experience working with children and adults with behavioral problems which has improved my interpersonal skills -making teaching / getting information across clearly easier.
Tutoring Approach:
I would like to make the subject I will be teaching interesting- to set appropriate and specific goals, to explain and describe things clearly, to promote participation and discussion. Also, to treat the pupil seriously. I understand that, since individuals learn at different rates and in different ways, I need to provide a variety of activities, tasks and pace of work, and monitor and evaluate their progress.
