Personal Description:

I am a qualified Speech and hearing therapist and work at Derriford Hospital 4 days a week.

I have done a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course and am an English first language speaker.

Teaching Experience:

I have tutored in South Africa in Maths, English and Biology.
I have done language therapy with many children up to the age of 16

Tutoring Approach:

I make sure the environement is as relaxed as possible. Children and adults are different so there is always a different approach. I am able to tutor in my own home or come to you depending on distance. If a child is aged under ten then I try to make learning as fun as possible, but that's not to say if you're older it won't be fun. Why not sit down to a cup of tea and learn some conversational English if you're an adult?
