Personal Description:

We are all qualified teachers with our own children of school age. We therefore recognize that with large class sizes, children often miss out on the one-to-one support they need to fulfil their potential. We provide this in the safe environment of the family home.



Teaching Experience:

We are all CRB checked. Each of us have over 20 years experience of working in avariety of state and independant primary and secondary schools and colleges of post 16 education. Although we specialize in entrance examinations and SAT preparation, we are currently working with pupils studying for their GCSEs.



Tutoring Approach:

We provide one-to-one tuition in a range of academic subjects as well as offering practical support in planning and organising essays, reports and coursework projects. We assess the needs of each pupil before going on to produce an individual tailor-made learning programme. Our aim is to devise tasks and deliver them in ways which children find challenging and rewarding. We give advice and guidance in a supportive, non-threatening fashion. A key goal of North Norfolk Tutors is to raise a child's self-esteem so that he/she has the confidence to go to truly fulfil their potential.
