Personal Description:
I am a young, enthusiastic and experienced teacher currently teaching maths at a Secondary College in Leicester.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching for just over two and a half years. During this time I have gained experience of teaching mathematics to all ages between 11 and 19.
Tutoring Approach:
I aim to provide a relaxed atmosphere for students in which they can feel confident of their progression in the subject. I intend to build their confidence by presenting maths to them in an enjoyable and inspiring manner. Students often find it difficult to relate maths to any future career which is why I try to teach them the practical application of topics where possible. I can prepare students for SAT's, GCSE's and A-levels by teaching on a one-to-one basis or as a group of 2-3 students. I will implement the National Numeracy Strategy as recommended by the government and provide homeworks and other resources to enhance learning.
