Personal Description:
I hold a BAHons Degree in Mathematics (2:1) from Cambridge University, an MSc in Informatics and Learning from Data (Distinction) from Edinburgh University, an MSc in Mathematical Logic and Theory of Algorithms (Distinction) from Athens University and am now working towards a PhD in Mathematics at Imperial College London.
Teaching Experience:
I have had experience tutoring GCSE, A-level, International Baccalaureate and university mathematics, both at class level and in one-one private lessons. I take great interest and pleasure in teaching - this has been one of my main motivations for taking the academic route.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is very much adaptive on the specific needs on the student and is based on successfully communicating with him/her. I have enough experience to be able to suggest more than one ways of understanding the same topic, as well as to motivate students by pointing out interesting aspects (e.g. applications) of it. I am willing to prepare supplementary teaching material (such as exercises, notes etc.) if needed.
