Personal Description:
I was schooled at Gordonstoun.

Currently married, I have an adult daughter from a previous marriage who lives in Australia.
I migrated to Australia in 1986, built an eco home and planted thousands of trees.
In 1989 I became a Chartered Engineer through the British Computer Society.
Outside of work my interests include Sailing, Skiing, Dancing and Family History.
Teaching Experience:
I first taught 'O' level maths in 1968.
For the past 10 years I've been a lecturer and tutor on a masters level business programme focused on sustainability.
Tutoring Approach:
I support and encourage tutees to figure answers out for themselves. This is an essential skill both for self directed learning and for life. I also use this approach in marking.
I set homework tasks which I expect to be completed by the agreed date. In return you can expect assignments to be marked and returned by an agreed date.
