Personal Description:

Native Polish speaker. Passionate about languages and society. I'm talkative and approachable.

Teaching Experience:

Over 8 years of steady tutoring experience. I've conducted both long term language courses as well as short ones for weddings and holidays. I've taught adults, university students and GCSE-level pupils. My main focus is on individual tutoring but I also have classroom experience and I'm happy to engage with groups.

Methods I've used span from conventional book-style approach, flexible course formed in co-operation with a student (choice of topics, methods, material, focus) to the theme-specific conversation.

Tutoring Approach:

My priority is to make personalised lessons, focus them around interests, preferences and needs of each student. I use variety of materials (books, newspapers, songs, films, photographs, games, additional grammatical and vocabulary exercises). I adjust pace and method of introducing new information and skills to fit individual needs.

Language is a practical skill and I aim to give you the ability to communicate with your Polish friends, partners and co-workers. I also see language as a gateway to culture and I'm happy to complement lessons with insight to interesting and unique parts of Polish life.
