Personal Description:

Hi there! I am 17 and currently studying A Levels, I study Psychology, Maths, Chemistry and Biology. I am just mainly your average 17 year old although at the moment my social life has sort of stopped due to exams coming up! So a tutoring job might be something to get my mind off exams yet still practice skills! I would love the opportunity to tutor someone, whatever their age as I believe the best gift you can give is knowledge! Please contact me if interested

Teaching Experience:

I have no outside tutoring as to date however in secondary school I was part of the mentoring leadership in which any child that was struggling with a subject would come and seek help from the more able students including myself. I have been in the top set ever since reception so I'm sure teaching someone something would not be a challenge for me and I would love to help someone out. I also have a younger sister who frequently seeks my help with her homework, she is currently about to sit her Year 6 Sats so I have experience in helping with that!

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring would include revising over a topic with a student, one that they are finding hard and then looking at past questions as I had this friend who done nothing but past paper questions and managed to gain all A*/A's in her GCSEs so I think that would be a good way to help a students exam technique as a lot of the time a reason why a student is not doing so well is due to exam technique or so I've always been told! My approach would be to not make the student feel as though they do not know anything but more so that she/he feels better once the session is over. I would love to work with a student and help them gain their true potential.
