Personal Description:

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with Business Management from the University of London (Queen Mary). I have been tutoring since Jan 2006 and I am working as a teacher of business studies. I have previously worked as a Teaching Assistant and a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. I have achieved the AAT advanced certificate in accounting and I have achieved the CIMA Advanced Management Accounting Diploma. I work for Star Tutors an Education Center that teaches Maths, English and Science at £8ph with small groups of four students. I have previously worked at Chace Community School as a Teaching Assistant and at Nightingale Academy as a Teacher of Business and ICT after being promoted from a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

Teaching Experience:

I am currently working a teacher at a Walthamstow academy. I have tutored Maths, Science and Business Studies since Jan 2006. I have also taught ICT and tutored ICT after requests from parents. I am registered with the General Teaching Council as an Instructor.

Tutoring Approach:

first of all I have a chat to the student to find out what level they feel there at. Then give them some questions based on what the student has told me. I will then divise a bespoke plan for the student based on how easily they worked through the questions. I am very patient and take the time to ensure that the student has understood the subject matter before moving to a new topic.
