Personal Description:

I am a professional actor and theatre director, working primarily for FellSwoop Theatre Company.
Having graduated with a First Class BA Honours Degree in Theatre and Performance at Warwick University, I have much skill and experience in both the academic and practical aspects of Drama. I have a fun and personable approach to tutoring, with particular experience in: Drama, English Literature, Maths and English as a foreign language



Teaching Experience:

As a Drama practitioner I have worked within a number of schools in Bristol and as a workshop practitioner for Chichester Festival Youth Theatre. Through these practices I have developed strong knowledge and understanding of the GCSE and A-Level curriculum, and have plenty of experience working with young people of all abilities and strengths. As a tutor I have worked on developing students in a practical and/or written capacity, for both group-work or as one-to-one, and for those re-sitting an exam (proven improvement from C - A* Grades) or preparing for the first time.



Tutoring Approach:

I believe in creating a supportive, encouraging environment, where those being taught are facing new challenges in each session. It is important the relationship is open and honest, friendly and approachable to discuss and tackle different tasks and improve a level at a time to the individual's ability. I set weekly and monthly targets so that we are able to evaluate progress over a period of time.
