Information About Thomas:
Personal Description:
I am a Third Year Language Student at Exeter University, have recently completed my Study Abroad Programme in Egypt. My early years were spent in Thailand, Dubai and Hong Kong, so naturally I have grown up in very multicultural settings with the use of several languages. Aside of my interest in languages, I like to travel, play classical guitar, dance, and enjoy water sports.
Teaching Experience:
I gained my TEFL Qualification for teaching English to all levels and abilities in 2010. Also I tutored several students at schools in my area for French, Spanish and German (so far up to GCSE Level).
Tutoring Approach:
I like to find out my student's targets and goals, as well as any weaker areas and specific skills which they want to focus on in particular. I prefer a practical approach to tutoring, so there will be emphasis on speaking the language as a means of confidence building and practise with a fluent speaker of the language.
