Personal Description:
I am a British/Turkish citizen and have been living in the UK since 1992.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching English/Turkish since 1995. I have also been working as a freelance interpreter and translator since 1993.
Tutoring Approach:
I teach Turkish to people at every level. I tailor my teaching according to the language level of the person I am teaching. Therefore I have thought people with no or little knowledge of Turkish or people who knew some Turkish but wanted to improve and practice their Turkish. I am flexible in my teaching as I know a lot of people have other commitments such as jobs, children and the like. Depends on whether the person wants or not I give homework after each lesson or confine my teaching to lessons. I repeat the lessons quite often in order to reinforce the learning.
