Personal Description:

I recently graduated from Oxford University, with a masters (Meng) in engineering science. I took my A levels in 2007 in Physics, Maths, Further maths and Economics, achieving grade A in all. I am very familiar with the sort of study patterns and techniques that are required by students in their preperation for these exams. I am friendly, helpful and very patient when it comes to teaching on a one to one basis.



Teaching Experience:

I was involved with the mentoring scheme that my college offered. This involved me having to meet with individual students in order to help and advise them with their school work. This experience helped me become more aware of the different methods and approaches needed for individual students. I also have two younger brothers studying for their GCSE's/A-levels who I regularly help out with their academic work.



Tutoring Approach:

My approach is to break down the topic into small managable chunks and to take the student step by step through the material. I am focused with teaching the student key exam techniques and vital steps that are needed in preperation for them. I am focused with covering material in a thorough but efficient way, as well as making use of exam past papers which hold the key to breaking down nervousness and exam fright.
