Personal Description:
I am a native speaker of Polish and have lived in Cardiff for the last few years. I studied foreign languages; (English as the leading subject and German) at the University College of Foreign Languages in Poland. I have a BA in TEFL and am also a CELTA graduate. I possess the QTS from the General Teaching Council for England. I lived in Munich/ Germany for two and a half years which contributed towards my fluency in that language.

Teaching Experience:
Throughout the studies I was giving private German and English tuition. After graduating from university and before moving to the UK I taught English as a Foreign Language to young learners on a full time basis in a primary school in my hometown. Since moving to the UK I have been giving private Polish and German tuition.

Tutoring Approach:
My tutoring is based on the Comunicative Language Teaching method which puts an emphasis on learning to communicate through interaction in the target language. During my lessons I introduce authentic texts and materials into the learning situation. I focus mainly on speaking, reading and listening comprehension. My students never leave my classes without homework. I think words should always be taught in context and I also introduce small elements of culture of the country the given langauge is spoken.
