Personal Description:
I love teaching, it has been my life's work. For me it's more than just a profession, it's a state of mind and soul, when you as a teacher and a person want to constantly grow and develop, open new doors and look into new cultures. It isn't just for self-development but for sharing with students and carrying them with you. I can help you to learn Russian with confidence, step by step, at your own pace. I'd like to share the knowledge of Russian with you and to open the door to this huge world of Russia.

For a few years I've been teaching spoken and business Russian to executives at blue chip companies among which is Johnson & Johnson.

I have mastered a wide range of methods which affords me to be quite flexible in teaching and to make each lesson a tailored one where the main principal is to simplify things, not to complicate them. I will help you to learn, step by step, at your own pace.

My priorities are my students' confidence and convenience while studying, and their satisfaction with the final results. That's why I'm so very proud to say that my students have achieved many of their goals, whether it's just a simple trip to Russia or passing their exams, living in bilingual families, helping their companies to strengthen relations with Russia and even working and living in Russia.

I provide my students with all the necessary materials as well as offer free interactive games that they can play after lessons to increase their vocabulary.

I am flexible in my approach and am happy to adapt to any student's needs. I look to work on all aspects of a student's approach, including revision technique, writing style and exam preparation. My preference is for committed students who will practice and implement what is learnt outside of lessons. I have typically set students exercises for completion before the next lesson in addition to revision work for practise essay questions. The more committed a student is to our classes, the more they will gain from them.

Personal Description:
I am currently a second year student at the University of Bath, studying for a Masters in Aerospace Engineering. I have achieved great academic results at A-Level from Wallingford Sixth Form.

I do a lot of sport, such as squash, kickboxing and cycling, and I am also musical, playing acoustic and electric guitar.

I should be available for tutoring during term time, but due to the workload of my course, some weeks I will be unavailable.

Teaching Experience:

I have limited experience in tutoring but i have helped course mates frequently when they do not understand the curriculum or haven`t understood the method that the lecturer uses. I tend to find that changing the technique of teaching a subject allows you to understand it better.

I also helped friends and family who are studying A-levels in maths, further maths and physics.

Tutoring Approach:

I'm very patient with tutees and take the time to make sure they learn the topic subject thoroughly. As I said before, I tend to vary my methods of teaching if the tutee doesn't understand how i'm teaching it. I also think it is a better learning environment if the session has a specific plan in mind but is informal enough to allow the tutee to query anything that they don't fully understand.

Personal Description:
I am a 23 year old Singaporean currently studying Economics at UCL on a scholarship from Singapore's Public Service Commission. Outside of school, I devote most of my time to training either with the University Table Tennis Team or the Football Club. I served with the Singaporean army after graduating from Junior College in 2009, and came to London to begin my undergraduate studies in 2012.

Teaching Experience:

I have been giving private tuition since 2010, to students ranging from 9-18 years old. I enjoyed those experiences and am looking forward to providing help to whoever may need it. I tutored mostly in Math, Chemistry, Physics and Economics (these are the subjects I pursued in Junior College). I had a memorable time teaching SAT English to a class of Koreans and also one-on-one with a student from China, where I had to translate between English and Chinese.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in making the student feel confident in his/her own abilities. I want the student to be comfortable with asking questions, without the fear of making a mistake. I usually set my students some homework, but this is flexible according to the student's schedule. I hope for my students to be able to set targets for themselves and take ownership of their academic success, and ultimately mature as youths. Having recently (relatively) graduated from Junior College, I believe I will be able to relate with my students, not just on an academic level, but on a personal one as well.

Personal Description:
My name is Adam and I am 22 and a third year student at the University of Edinburgh, studying for a MA in History. I have studied a variety of topics particularly the past two centuries of British, Russian and American history, but I have also studied Roman, Chinese, and African histories as well as the histories of medicine and science. I am, however, knowledgeable about many other areas of history and able to teach the skills required to study any period.

I achieved an A* and full marks in my final exam of my History A-Level as well as As in Economics and Maths and 10 GCSEs A*-A. I thoroughly enjoy the act of teaching and love to pass on my knowledge to students and see them develop and flourish. Outside of academic studies I am a keen sportsman, playing football, rugby and cricket on a weekly basis.

Teaching Experience:

After achieving my A-levels and leaving school, I returned the following year to help A-level students with their exam preparation and their long essay projects. I spent a week working with students on a one on one basis to give them guidance and practical advice for their studies.

I privately tutored a student from my old secondary school and developed my own skills of working with students as well as providing him the relevant skill-set to succeed in the discipline and he subsequently achieved a high grade in his History A-Level.

At university I have made class presentations detailing key periods in history in which I have specialised and have passed on to classmates the knowledge which I have learned. I have also helped peer review essays and helped several classmates with essay structure and writing skills.

Tutoring Approach:

Each student has an individual style of learning and as such need to be tutored in a unique way which keeps them interested in the subject and stretches them to reach their potential. I am very enthusiastic about the subject and believe that students learn best when they too are able to connect with the subject they are looking at.

I believe that one of the most important skills to learn as a student of history is to be able to write confidently and coherently. Once this skill is acquired, students will be able to rapidly advance to learn the essential skill of critical analysis of the evidence put before them.
