I am a qualified teacher in Secondary School Science and also a chemist with a German Diplom in Chemistry (equivalent to MSc). During my training as a scientist I studied organic, inorganic, physical, food- and biochemistry as well as maths, physics and toxicology. Teaching Experience:
I trained as a Secondary School Science teacher and obtained my PGCE from the University of East Anglia in July 2007. I graduated top of my class in my school with the German A-level equivalent focusing on Mathematics and Physics. Tutoring Approach:
I will provide all materials, course guides, and encourage young students to be creative in their methods of tackling problems. I have lots of experience with working with students from the C/D borderline-category all the way up to A/A* candidates.

From the Ages of 14 onwards (Year 9+) I teach all subjects from scratch, with a view to proving why concepts exist and introduce topics from first principles. This I believe will improve retention, help pupils understand concepts better, and also allow them to remember test questions better - It really does work!

Where parents request extra work, I can provide monthly progress sheets, homework tasks, and an extensive list of past papers.
