Personal Description:
I am 23 years old, I currently work as an associate lecturer at the University of Kent. My hobbies include genealogy, and numismatics. I love teaching and enjoy watching my pupils grow and succeed. I hold both a Bachelors (Hons) and a Masters degree in History from the University of Kent, and am currently completing my ATAP qualification.

Teaching Experience:

I am currently working as an associate lecturer for the School of Physical Sciences at the University of Kent, teaching foundation year Forensic science students.

I am not only capable of teaching purely academic subjects, but can, if requested, aid in genealogical research, for instance when starting family trees or researching for school projects. I can also offer basic computing instruction for adults wishing to utilise computers, but not being sure of where to start. I can offer basic introductions to word, Excel etc. and offer help on using the Internet or basic computer practice.

Tutoring Approach:

I'm an easy going person, enthusiastic with my subjects and enjoy helping my pupils to succeed. I like to, where possible, follow what the pupil is already being taught by their school or college. I then expand upon this, finding a facet of the material the pupil finds interesting, and using this to make them more enthusiastic about learning, after all no one learns when they are forced. I try to persuade the student to learn for themselves, in an independent fashion, rather than the spoon-fed methods previously used. This I believe builds a solid platform for the next stages of education. Although I cannot currently offer tutoring online, I respond quickly to email questions, and can through consultation set additional homework where required.

I am also able to help with essay writing, examination and presentation skills, where required, whether within the subject being taught or as an external subject on it's own, i.e. if you, or your child requires a 'brush up' on essay writing, that covers various subjects.

Personal Description:
I am currently studying M.Sc. Design Ethnography at the University of Dundee, Scotalnd. I have a Masters (Hons.) as well as a Bachelors (Hons.) degree in Anthropology. I have completed my highschool education with Botany, Zoology, Chemistry and Physics as the main subjects. I have good communication skills in written and verbal English.

Teaching Experience:

I have nearly 2 years of experience in Private Tutoring for primary school children for pocket money while I was myself a student at the University.

Tutoring Approach:

I am highly influenced by Plato's dialectical methods of teaching. I prefer to invoke thought and discussion with my students and let them learn from each other's points of view apart from meditating around what has been written in their text books. I also prefer to use etymological approach for students to understand meanings of complex words especially used in Biology.

I prefer to identify students who need special attention and focus and spend extra time in grooming them and fulfilling their needs.
