I very much enjoy teaching as i consider a one-to-one approach more efficient in the learning process for languages.

For small children i like to teach with games, songs, and manual activities which will help them to practice their understanding and speaking.
For older children, I usually work with them to understand their needs, and focus on an objective (such as get an A at GCSEs). I use school exercises as well as my own methods.
With adults, i like to listen to the person's needs and discuss with them a method of learning that we agree on together.

Hello,

I'm a french assistant since 3 years in Birmingham and i'm looking for a job for next September.
I'm currently working in a primary school in Bordesley Green, where I teach the children and I also give tuition to the teachers.
Although I don't have a teaching degree, I do have lots of experiences in teachin, since I work in 5 differents primary schools and one secondary school. I'm a native speaker and I'm very creative. I also created along the years, ots of different resources for teaching children and adults.

My name is Rebecca and I have just graduated in July of this year with a Joint Honours French and Spanish degree in which I achieved First Class Honours. Through my language studies, I have acquired many experiences of living, studying and working abroad, including studying in Spain for 1 year and France for 10 weeks. I am a very trustworthy and reliable person and due to my experience with languages and with people from different cultures I am very sociable, adaptable and flexible around a wide array of people.

Teaching Experience:
I have a substantial amount of teaching experience including spending one summer in Gran Canaria working as an Au Pair and teaching three young children English, followed by two consecutive summers in Spain working as an Au Pair for the same family and teaching their young child English as well. I also gained an extensive amount of teaching experience whilst studying in France by attending regular meetings with French people and offering to help to improve upon their English skills. Whilst studying in Spain, I gave private lessons to University students of all ages and to three young children and their father. I have built up a good rapport with all of the people who I have taught and remain in contact with the majority of them.
