Personal Description:
I am 23 years old and I am in my final year at The University of Manchester where I am studying French and Italian. I have spent 6 months in Bologna in Italy, working in a private language school for those wished to learn either Italian or English. I worked as a copywriter for the school website, working in French, Italian and English. I also worked as a conversation tutor to those who wanted to learn English. I am now waiting on my results for a recognised qualification, a C1 CILS exam. In the same year, I lived in Paris for four months where I worked at ELLE, the well known women's fashion magazine, where I used solely French. I am very down to earth and my biggest passion is football, I enjoy a good movie and love a good comedy. If you feel more comfortable meeting in a neutral place, a coffee place or in the town centre that is fine by me. It is flexible. A clean criminal record and can boast a detention-less education!

Teaching Experience:

I now have teaching experience and I have shadowed those who have done this for a job. I have worked voluntarily in a school teaching beginner's Italian. Having already worked as a conversation tutor in a private school, I feel I would excel in giving private lessons, given the chance.

Tutoring Approach:

I feel every student works at their own pace, however it would not take me long to work out an approach which would realise the full potential of the tutee. I am patient and I can sympathise that learning a new language or topic can be frustrating.

Personal Description:
I am a qualified English teacher with a PhD in English Literature from Durham University and an MA degree in English Philology from the Jagiellonian University of Krakow. English has always fascinated me and imparting my knowledge to others has been a pleasure and a reward. I am interested in Modernist as well as contemporary literature as much as in British culture and geography. I wish to share my passion with my students in order to help them realize that learning a language is not only useful but great fun if taught and approached in the right way.

Teaching Experience:

My English teaching experience covers working for Studio Cambridge, EAC and Anglophiles Academic at their summer camps for students of various nationalities in such locations as Cambridge, York, Bath, Bishop's Stortford and Skegness. I have also taught at three language schools in Poland and completed teaching practice in three Polish secondary schools. What is more, I have been teaching English on a one-to-one basis for the past ten years to students of all ages and various nationalities (including French, Italian, German, Korean and Polish). I have prepared four students for their A-level examinations, which they passed with flying colours. I have also taught English to children and adults of all levels and with various difficulties (e.g. dyslexia). I am currently a part-time tutor in English Literature at Durham University. I have also taught Polish successfully on a one-to-one basis for four years.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe learning is all about attitude and motivation. Language can be taught in a variety of ways, but the key is to choose the method that is most fruitful in an individual case. Forcing a language in is ineffective and unprofessional. The focus should be on practice rather than theory, though both are necessary for the student to develop their language skills. Theory must always be supported with lots and lots of practice - be it grammar and vocabulary exercises, games, films, music, television or newspaper articles - anything that will keep the student in touch with the language system. In short, the key to success is the student's positive attitude and interest in the subject (both of which the teacher can help develop) and the continuity of exposure to a given language, which the teacher should provide, plus the practice of grammar and vocabulary.

Personal Description:
I am a fully-qualified professional teacher with more than 25 years of classroom experience. I regard myself as a friendly and approachable tutor, as well as honest and conscientious, and I pride myself on being able to communicate with students of all ages, from pre-teen to pensioner.

I have recently finished teaching part-time at an independent school in Sutton, and previously taught Academic Writing for East Anglia University. I am now fully available for tutoring English (11+, 13+, Ielts, GCSE, A-level, IB) plus Spanish and Government & Politics (GCSE, A-level, IB) in the borough of Sutton and close by.

I am happy to report that 14 of my 15 Eleven Plus tutees passed the Selective Eligibility Test (SET) for Sutton's grammar schools in September 2014, and my GCSE and A-level tutees achieved grades from B to A*.

Teaching Experience:

I have 25 years of teaching and tutoring experience at schools and colleges in the UK and abroad. I have taught and tutored English (including IGCSE, EFL and IELTS) in Spain, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Abu Dhabi, and also for many years in the UK of course. I have worked as a private tutor ever since I started teaching, as I realised that the existing state and private education providers could not meet the demand for high-quality intensive tuition.

I offer personal tuition in English and Verbal Reasoning for those parents whose children are undertaking preparation for the 11+ exams for the Grammar schools in Sutton and Kingston, and Common Entrance (13+) coaching for pupils preparing to enter the many independent schools in the area. My wife and I successfully tutored our own children through these exams, and we are able to do the same for yours. In addition, I give personal coaching for the independent schools' admission interviews.

I also give tuition in ESSAY WRITING and STUDY SKILLS, as my experience has taught me that many students at GCSE and A-level face real problems in these areas. By working together on students' essays, substantial improvements can be made in style, organisation, argument, presentation, and much more. This way, I can teach you how to produce more effective and mature essays, and thus help you to obtain better grades and increase your confidence in producing written work.

Tutoring Approach:

I expect hard work from my tutees, and homework should be completed to a satisfactory standard. With every tutee I carry out an initial assessment of his/her needs and abilities, and my teaching begins from there. By focusing on improving the weaknesses and consolidating the strengths, I can help to mould a successful student. This approach appears to be successful, and I can provide references.

Over the past three years I have successfully tutored students for the following schools, colleges, and universities:

Schools: Sutton Grammar, Wilsons, Wallington County, Wallington High, Nonsuch, Whitgift, Trinity, Wimbledon High, Kings School, City of London, Epsom College, Ewell Castle, and several others.

Colleges: Carshalton, Merton, NESCOT, and Kingston

Universities: Manchester, Warwick, City, East Anglia, St Martins, Lincoln, Bournemouth, and several others.

Please note that my fees are very affordable, bearing in mind that I travel to your house and offer an individualised programme of tutoring. I now charge a flat rate of 35 per hour for every subject at all levels (at peak times). Lessons given daytime Monday to Friday are charged at 30 per hour, as are those given via Skype.

Lessons of 75 and 90 minutes are also popular, and these are offered at a discounted rate. Please note that any tutoring that involves more than 6 miles travel (round trip) usually incurs a small extra charge.

If you are looking for a fully-qualified and highly-experienced teacher of English, in all its varieties, you need look no further. Here are a few messages from some of my most recent tutees:

Hello Jeff, I just got my IELTS results and I FINALLY passed it! Listening 8, Reading 7.5, Writing 7, Speaking 7.5 and it`s 7.5 overall. I would like to THANK you sooooo MUCH for your help and all advice you have given me! It would not be possible otherwise. (Vanja)

Sam got into Wilsons and we are pretty sure that his English performance carried him through. Sam said we ought to say `thanks` to you as you made a massive difference to his standard of English in a very short period of time. Not sure how, but you made something click in his brain where his school teachers had failed! (Cathy)

Hi Jeff, hope you are well. I am extremely delighted to tell you that Rick has a place at Westminster, and we are going ahead with that. He has also had offers from HABS, KCS and RGS Guildford. Thank you so much for all your support. (Animesh)

Jeff is tutoring my son and daughter in English literature and both really appreciate the assistance he is giving them. My son who is grappling with gothic texts at A level says Jeff is managing to `teach him by stealth` so he is learning skills in a painless way. My daughter who is studying GCSE was delighted that after a few weeks with Jeff her English grade moved from D to B. Overall I`m extremely pleased at the way Jeff is tutoring them. (Helen)

Hi Jeff, just to let you know that Dillon got a place at Sutton Grammar on Monday. He also received places at Whitgift, Trinity and Epsom. We have decided to accept Sutton Grammar, and thank you for all your help and time.
Thanks - Paulomi and Dillon.

Dear Jeff! Thanks you so much for tutoring me last year. You have helped my English greatly and without your advice and guidance I would have had a nervous breakdown when I was given the task of an essay. You taught me about causal connectives, signpost words, paragraph structure and much more vital strategies of writing an amazing essay.
Finally, I am happy that I got a place at Wilsons and know I would have faled the English language test without what you taught me. I am very grfateful that you gave up your time to help me pass.
Yours Sincerely, Makar

Hi Jeff, I hope you're well. I just wanted to let you know that Andriy got offered a place at Whitgift and we have accepted it. Thank you very much for helping and recommending this great school to us. Andriy is really excited about it and cannot wait to start.
Oksana

Personal Description:
I graduated from Loughborough University with an honours degree in Industrial Chemistry. I then went on to do three years research in Photochemistry to gain a Masters degree from Kingston University. I also have another masters degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Aston in Birmingham and a Masters in Business Administration from Kingston University. I have over 25 years of industrial experience. During my career I took a pro-active role in training and mentoring new graduates joining the firms I worked for, GEC Telecommunications Ltd and Fujitsu plc.

Teaching Experience:

I have over 14 years of teaching experience in business studies at the Open University teaching at both undergraduate and post graduate levels. I have been tutoring KS1 to KS3, GCSE and A-Level students in Science subjects and Mathematics for 3 years. I also tutor English at KS1 to KS3 and GCSE levels. At present I am tutoring KS3, GCSE and A Level students in English, Science Subjects and Mathematics.

Tutoring Approach:

I take a mentoring and nurturing approach to teaching. I prepare students both at GCSE and A Levels to sit examinations by the three main examining boards in England, namely, Aqa, OCR and Edexcel. I prefer to tutor from home and only take on a very limited number of students so that I can give my full attention to their examination success. I have tutored students who have been deemed not to be high achievers by their schools, but have subsequently gone on to gaining A grades at GCSE. I am highly motivated and nothing gives me greater pleasure than to get letters from students thanking me for helping them to gain examination success. I tutor from home as I have found students perform best in this situation and I also have access to all my teaching resources as necessary to tailor each lesson to suit a particular students needs. Although I feel tutoring from my home is a good approach I am prepared to travel to a student's home but will of course need to charge travel costs.

Personal Description:
I am a super-tutor, with a 1st Class Masters from Cambridge University. I am excellent with children and love to help others learn.

I went straight from university into drama school, and now work as a tutor and a professional actress. I have 4 years of tutoring experience and have helped children get into some of the best schools in the country, as well as aiding older children in getting the A*s they want at GCSE and A-level.

Teaching Experience:

My degree at Cambridge University was in Education studies with English and Drama. Although it was not a teacher training course, the Education Studies module of the degree involved learning an introduction to the philosophy, psychology, sociology and history of education. I was also, of course, able to benefit from the private seminar and tutorial system that Cambridge offers. As a result, I am fully aware of how beneficial a one-on-one teaching style can help to build confidence, and heighten learning and understanding.

I have now been tutoring ages 7-18 for 4 years, and have had brilliant feedback from my various jobs:

1. Lucy is an excellent enthusiastic tutor who does a great job keeping my son interested and engaged. I would highly recommend her. - Father of Zain (age 8)

2. I would really like to thank you for being such a great tutor. We appreciate the effort you put into preparing for the sessions with Ella and we have every confidence in your dedication and abilities. - Father of Ella (age 16)

3. Julian scored 97% UMS marks in English Language, which is within 2.1% of all the boys taking English this year. For English Literature his UMS score was 97% again, which is within 4% of all the boys this year! This brilliant result, we think, is largely thanks to your help. - Mother of Julian (age 16)

4. Our son absolutely loved Lucy. She worked so hard with him in the lead-up to his exams, and I don`t know what we would have done without her! - Mother of Christopher (age 11)

Tutoring Approach:

I am a confidence-buildling tutor.

My approach is generally fun. I am the tutor who is also the friend. I do not let a child get away with misbehaviour or laziness, but at the same time I am certainly not stern. My approach is without a doubt to help the child learn to love the subject and want improvement for themselves, not because I demand it of them.

Firstly, I will always aim to find the areas the child is having the most difficulty with and break it down to its simplest form to help them understand. Once a child has understood the basic principle of what we are learning, I aim to push them as far as I can with their learning - my memory of the best teacher's I had at school were the teacher's who pushed me even further than I needed to go, and who gave me more knowledge and information than I needed to know. I then found that I entered my exams relaxed and confident, knowing that I had excess knowledge. Rather than learning just to answer set questions in an exam, I felt I truly understood those subjects.

Of course, I would play everything by ear though, and I would not pile extra work or information on a child if they are still struggling. We will work at a pace that is comfortable but useful for them.

Personal Description:
I have lived in Colchester most of my life, and had an uncle who was a teacher; this inspiring me to become involved in education, after having worked in other occupations.
My interests include drama, photography, salsa dancing, classic cars and travel. I am also actively involved in a number of societies, including being a committee member.

Teaching Experience:

I have been tutoring since 2003.
I am experienced in 1 to 1 tuition, and have also worked as a part time college lecturer. I currently work as a
training manager (in work based learning in transport), as well as a tutor.
I've also been involved in verifying learning material, and have worked with LAC/SEN students.
I aspire to eventually become a qualified (QTS) teacher.
I am a member of the Institute for Learning, and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

Tutoring Approach:

I encourage students to input their own ideas and opinions into tutorials, as I feel this can help their learning process, over merely having a tutor "talking", and them "listening".
Basically, my approach to tutoring is like a "two way street", with good communication and interaction between
both parties, which in turn can make the learning experience more fulfilling for the student.
I set homework for students, (where applicable).

Responsibilities as a Secondary school Teacher:
Plan and carry out lessons
Keep records of students grades
Set students targets either in a formal or informal setting. Eg parents evening or informal meeting with parent
Attended parents evening
Mark children in yr 11 course work
Have extra sessions for children who are behind in their coursework
Mark student's class work coursework, record their grades and plan based on weak and or strong areas identified
Ensure that students work to their full potential
Work closely with department heads and head of the years that I teach to monitor the student development in different areas

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is an investigative and supportive. ie their is a lot of logics or knowledge that I child sometimes laready have, by questioning sometimes these will come out. That way the child will remember the information fo a longer time as he/she contributed to the answer. She/he feels valued and a part of the teaching and learning process.
Each child I tutor is alway given a diagnostic test. From the test I would do a Individual Learning Plan. During tutoring as I identify weak areas I address them individually. I see education as a completed chain link, that is if a child is lacking in certain background knowledge, they will find it difficult to move forward effectively with their education. Unless these weak areas are address and their knowledge concretize they find it difficult to move on.
Parent's feedback is apart of this process and children must be praised throughout their learning, when neccessary and this needs to be done in context.

Personal Description:
I work with my students to increase their confidence and help them improve their communication skills, in speaking and writing.

I have an English Degree from Bristol University, and I speak fluent French. I have a Trinity TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification.

I have worked as a writer, journalist and editor in this country and abroad, for magazines, newspapers and the BBC World Service.
I have worked for the UN and the EU, as well as many private clients and international aid agencies.

I came to tutoring in Africa, where it was clear that my services and experience could be very useful to students at all levels: I have taught one to one and in small groups, privately and most recently for a comprehensive school in Surrey.

I have also edited an MA thesis in History of Art for the Courtauld and some theses for Sotheby's History of Art students (we normally do very well!).

I have an Assessor's and Verifier's Award for CITY and Guilds NVQ courses. I am also teaching English and other subjects in Prisons in London, Kent and Sussex.

I am a mother of two boys, both now at university. My husband works in conservation which is why the family has travelled extensively. We are now back in England for the foreseeable future.

Teaching Experience:

Private students (A level and GCSE) and also teach GCSE English on a 1:1 basis to the lower sets of students at Jubilee International High School in Surrey. They have all raised their grades significantly and are much more confident with their work.
EFL at Guildford College to young Spanish students - Summer 2013.
I speak fluent French; I was a governor at Cranbrook School in Kent, and stood in for a term for the French assistante when she had to go home early. My A level students did well, and two continued their classes with me privately.
Tutor at Make the Grade tuition in Tunbridge Wells and also at summer English revision courses at Tonbridge School.
I devised and delivered a course for women journalists in Sierra Leone and taught creative writing and English at Foura Bay University.
Creative writing privately to groups, and at the University of Kent. I have helped students with presentation and interview skills, their CVs and Drama and Performing Arts GCSE.
Assessed NVQ Level 2 students in Customer Service with a 100% pass record.

Tutoring Approach:

I understand communication at all levels - verbal, written and on the web - and I am passionate about making people understand each other. I care very much about the basics - grammar, punctuation, spelling, and I have devised effective study skills tools which make a real difference.

My sessions are fun and inspiring. I am patient, and approachable, and work hard with my pupils to help them reach their full potential. I cannot do magic, but even the least able have contacted me after their exams to tell me they felt more confident about them. Some even told me they enjoyed them!

Personal Description:
I decided to start tutoring after my experience in trying to get tutors for my own children. As a professional working internationally I thought it would be easy to hand over this important element of their education to someone with both experience and patience. My notion was quickly turned on its head. The Tutors I found taught textbook style with the one shoe fits all approach. My children and others didn't fit into that mould. I very quickly realised that I could do a better job and took the role in house, initially teaching my own daughters before extending out to their friends.
To date I have tutored over 50 children who have gone onto their chosen schools and streams. I believe that tutoring should be about delivering skills to children that they can carry with them throughout their young lives and provide a solid platform on which to develop.

Teaching Experience:

Have tutored key stage 2 and 3.
11 plus students and common entrance applicants.
Recently started to tutor mildly dyslexic students in English comprehension and Language.
Currently writing essays for publication in English Literature and Sociology and Business GCSE and AS level. As well as E papers for 11 plus students.

Tutoring Approach:

I love seeing peoples enthusiasm toward a subject which I also share the same excitement towards however I am also passionate about helping people who may need help or are looking for methods to improve their skills in these topics.

Personal Description:
I am 29 years old and have been teaching A level and GCSE English and history at sixth form college for seven years, in which time my results have far surpassed national pass rates. Moreover, due to these outstanding pass rates and innovative teaching methods, my English department has been awarded a grade 1 'Outstanding' for the past 4 years. I have a passion for English and history, and take great pride in providing an excellent education to all of my students, seeing it as crucial to success in their later careers.

Teaching Experience:

I have a broad range of experience turning around failing classes, as well as challenging high achieving students. In my teaching career thus far I have taught a wide age range from 9-18 years, and specialise in teaching troubled students and those lacking confidence, as well as pushing very bright pupils. Since I began teaching at my institution, English pass-rates have received a 25% upwards leap in two years, so that the vast majority of my classes are now passing with high academic grades and attaining entry to prestigious preparatory schools and/or universities. With these excellent results I have now been made an advanced teaching practitioner, tasked with passing on my skills to other teachers and helping drive up standards

Tutoring Approach:

Besides enjoying superb results, my pupils benefit from a relaxed yet challenging atmosphere, with high commitment being expected of them and this has shown to bring both personal and academic growth, which is always pleasing to see. Moreover, in strengthening self-esteem and exciting the minds of my students, to provide them with the skills they need to excel in later life, I seek to provide them with only the finest education possible.

Personal Description:
I am a qualified teacher and Deputy of Department in London graded as Outstanding by the Institute of Education. I teach French and German at KS3, KS4 and KS5 and I also teach literacy to my year 9 form group.
I am a 24 year old graduate with a degree in French and German from UCL during which I lived in France (Bordeaux) for 6 months and also in Berlin for 6 months.
I tailor my tutoring to the specific needs of idiosyncratic students: I want to know what you want to focus on or if you want more general support and learning experiences. I have a wide range of resources and activities to make tutoring engaging, productive and fun.
I'm an outgoing, sociable and fun person who likes to meet new people and have a laugh.

Teaching Experience:

I am a qualified teacher in London with QTS and PGCE from the Institute of Education, graded as outstanding. I am responsible for phonics and differentiation in my department and have taught privately before (English as a foreign language and French). I am second in department and teach at all key stages.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is student centric and focused around what the student wants of needs. I incorporate a variety of vocabulary games and exercises with longer language activities to promote independent use of language and fluent application of language. This can be either in written or spoken French/German, or indeed both written and spoken. I conduct tutoring in the target language as much as possible to ensure listening and comprehension skills are improved and students learn more language from my own use.

Personal Description:
Hello! My name is Eva, and I would describe myself as a very warm, friendly, straight forward and patient person, with excellent communication skills. I have an incredibly strong academic record (A-Levels: English Literature-A*, Drama-A*and French-A) and a genuine love for reading, theatre, and music. I feel passionate about bringing success and confidence to those I teach, and I aim to inspire my pupils to have a real interest for the subject!

Teaching Experience:

I have regularly helped younger siblings with English homework, and given them the confidence to become braver and more vocal in the classroom. I am able to clearly explain exam and revision technique - which is often the key to improving grades.
I have previously set up a school drama club, and have led games and prepared lessons for groups of children. I enjoyed the challenge and process of this hugely, and know from verbal feedback that they did too! I hugely value the time I spent with these students and their inquisitive minds. As a result of my commitment to this club I was awarded the school's Eunice Hobbs prize for Initiative.
During my degree I was given the role as music teacher, singing teacher and pianist for one of the productions that was being put on. I enjoyed this hugely, and found the work to be incredibly satisfying. The group was made up of university students who had a huge range of musical abilities, and I feel that I was able to attend to each individual's needs by giving clear explanations and ways to think about music.

Tutoring Approach:

I graduated from Guildhall School of Music & Drama with a First Class Honours Degree, and feel that this is a wonderful foundation for tutoring. I feel passionate about helping pupils with Drama, English, or Music, and believe that I would be able to give excellent tutoring lessons. I feel very confident in one-to-one teaching scenarios, and believe I am sensitive to an individual's needs. I do not believe in "one size fits all", and am a great fan of finding out the right way and approach for everyone. Having rigorously gone through GCSEs, A-Levels and then a degree myself, I know how vital it is to feel confident in your own revision technique. I think it is also important to have a sense of fun when learning - and I believe I can bring this to the lesson!

Personal Description:
I'm a 26 year old teacher who is passionate about reading and helping my students overcome their barriers. I work in a school which has recently been awarded an outstanding rating by Ofsted, so I come from a very strong department who are able to offer me support if I require it to help the students I tutor.

Additionally, I came to teaching through the prestigious Teach First Leadership Development programme, which has enabled me to develop a variety of skills and methods of engaging a range of students from all backgrounds and abilities. I have a degree from Newcastle University in English Literature.

Teaching Experience:

Currently I teach at a large academy in London, this is my third year in teaching so I am passionate and enthusiastic about helping my students achieve their goals. I teach years 7 - 11, including WJEC GCSE and CIE IGCSE, both English and English Literature.
I also have experience teaching Years 5 and 6 once a week at my previous school.
In my previous school I headed a literacy curriculum to help our younger pupils tackle their literacy struggles.
I have tutored students for their 11+, common entrance, EAL sstudents and students taking their GCSEs.

Tutoring Approach:

In order to pass my maths GCSE I had to spend months in after school tuition, I therefore have had my fair share of being tutored! Subsequently I try my hardest to make my tutoring effective and enjoyable for all of my students.
I try to tailor my tuition to the interests of the students to increase their engagement in the subjects and ensure that all of the tasks are well suited to my tutee so they are accessible and stimulating.
I am patient, hardworking and determined to give my pupils the best support I can.

Personal Description:
A resident of Edinburgh for the past twelve years I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things myself. I am fairly well travelled, enjoy the arts and have a passion for working alongside others to help them achieve their goals.

I am a professional actor with degree level qualifications in both Philosophy (Dundee University) and Acting (Queen Margaret University College).

Teaching Experience:

I have worked with adults in improving spoken and written English for UK degree entry level. I have also worked with college and university students in the Middle East (UAE) to train science and drama education in both Arabic and English.

For several years I have visited schools in both the public and private sectors delivering reading, drama and science communication classes.

I have regularly taught 5-15 years drama in private classes and enjoy working with pre-drama school entrants of all ages in working on giving the best entrance audition possible.

Tutoring Approach:

I am confident at creating a structured approach that works with a pupil's own strengths and needs to provide a tailor-made package for learning.

Ideally I meet with each student to discuss their learning needs, current level and expected outcomes.

Although it is important to push the boundaries of learning, it should always be a workload that is both manageable and individually tailored.

People learn best when they are enjoying themselves, so I try my best to make learning fun and interactive.

Personal Description:
I was privately schooled in a girls school until I was 16 when I went to college. From College I worked with Children and Young Adults in schools and Youth groups until last year when I finally decided the career path I wanted to concentrate on and so returned to University to complete an Art Degree which will continue into an Art Therapy MA.
I have 12 GCSES and 4 A-levels along with many other training courses, and NVQ level 3 qualification.
I studied with Open University for 2 years along side working and have just completed my Foundation Art Degree at Cornwall College with the BA Top-UP year starting in September.
One of my real skills is helping those that are struggling understand a subject matter and get to grips with it in a different way. I also have great essay writing experience and skills and can help with essay structures, understanding the essay content, and proofreading.

Teaching Experience:

Having been a Teaching Assistant in a primary school, I am aware of how important some one to one tutoring can be. I have also taught Music and Drama privately since I was 18. I have also extensive experience working with autistic children along with children struggling due to personal circumstances.

Tutoring Approach:

I have an pupil lead approach to tutoring, I will respond to individual needs, and tailor my tutoring style accordingly. I believe that tutoring should have an element of fun to it. I will work with my pupil to find things about the subject that they can relate to and understand and start from there.

The basics of reading and writing are of paramount importance to me. Reading can open up a whole new world and I am very passionate in helping anyone be able to achieve their personal or academic goals.

I can help organise information to make it easier to understand, and have great research and essay writing skills so am able to explain how to break down the essay writing experience and create a good strong essay. I can also proof read.

I have also lead a number of summer youth camps including a two week camp in Wales for ages 15-16 and a 2 month camp in Canada- ages 8-16. I have

Tutoring Approach:

I have much experience with and knowledge of children with special educational needs and know how varied childrens' learning style and abilities can be regardless of chronological age. Thus I would assess what way a child would learn best continuously through the tutoring duration.
