Personal Description:
I enjoy teaching and consider myself both easy going and approachable, whilst being firm and demanding enough to get the best out of any potential student. I graduated with a 2:1 in Biochemistry (with a year in industry) from the University York. Following from my undergraduate degree I obtained an MRes with distinction in Molecular Plant Biology and Biotechnology at Imperial College London. This was followed by a further MRes with distinction in Urban Sustainability and Resilience at University College London. I am currently undertaking an Engineering doctorate at University College London, where my research area focuses on the production of algal biomass. The work falls within the fields of Biochemical and Environmental Engineering, and I have recently obtained research grants to pursue my work.

Teaching Experience:

At university I would often take part in student led tutorials and workshops, allowing me to hone my teaching and listening skills. I currently demonstrate in undergraduate laboratory classes and lead seminar discussions within my department. This university teaching experience is coupled with considerable prior activity in tutoring both friends, family and students of all ages in scientific subject areas, with high levels of success. I am currently tutoring key stage 3, and GCSE biology, chemistry and physics.

Tutoring Approach:

I have an informal teaching style and seek to understand the particular educational requirements of each individual tutee. To this end I will endeavor to promote educational development through note taking, written exercises, case studies, question and discussion periods, as well as with independent study. When the time comes for formal examinations the learning focus will shift to past paper practice and improving general examination technique. I have a firm belief in always being approachable for any type of question, great or small and l like to foster an inquisitive relationship with my tutee.

Personal Description:
Fully qualified teacher, Graduate from the University of Manchester. My teaching experience has been quite varied over the past two decades. I have worked as, and currently still do as a mainstream teacher, i have also been involved in the STEM project, a multimillion pound initiative by the UK government to increase interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. I have a passion for both teaching and science and it envelops most of my working week. I am a published author on A level chemistry and am currently developing video lessons for the international A level in Chemistry and Biology. I am currently almost fully booked with one maybe two slots available.

Teaching Experience:

20 years Teaching Maths, Chemistry, and Biology to A level, Lead Tutor for the medical foundation assisting pupils to gain A's and A*'s to enter Medicine. Apart from subject specific exams I also tutor for 11+ and the CATS for University candidates and Doctors.

In the past 12 months have entered 24 13 year olds for early GCSE's expecting A's and A*'s. Age range of my pupils vary from 12 to 18. My online lessons can be . I have currently created A2 resources for the Times Educational Supplement, am a published Author for an A level chemistry Text book and was invited to the national teaching awards.

Tutoring Approach:

I develop understanding to pass exams and hands on learning (Kinesthetic) for students who learn by doing.

Their is no magic to this, i impart the ability to understand what the examiner is asking and what they are expecting. 2011 results All my tutees gained grade A 's and 30% gained PERFECT UMS scores. Students who follow my regimen will achieve grade A's. I am also preparing an 11 and 12 year old for A level maths.

While textbooks cover the breadth of topics in science, hands-on laboratory activities focus on and deepen understanding of selected subjects. Hands-on tools provide opportunities for students to learn key concepts and techniques through active participation and inquiry. My practicle lab sessions allow efficient implementation and standardization of biotechnology activities in the classroom. My sessions are adaptable to a range of grade levels (keystage 3 through University), so you can choose the depth of information that you want to learn. A practicla session costs from £20 and is an average 2 hour session. The acticities include DNA extraction, genetic engineering to create bioluminescent bacteria and a host of others.

I have my own youtube channel which is aimed directly at A level topics. The videos look at mathematics for chemistry and biology, exam questions based on experiments. My personal resources are held on my own VLE which all my students can access.

Pupils are constantly tracked, not only on subject knowledge but also how well they analyse exam questions and what they need to improve.

I am willing to travel but this will add a small charge to the hourly rate.

Personal Description:
I am currently a third year medical student from the University of Newcastle but I have also graduated in Human Sciences from the University of Durham back in 2007. During the holidays I live in London. I have a wealth of experience working with children and teenagers from being a Christmas grotto host at Harrods to volunteering at Great Ormond Street Hospital for over a year.

My work ethic when I was younger was not as disciplined as it is now and I am aware of the difficulties that students can face when it comes to learning new concepts and hope to help tutees overcome these barriers.

Having applied to grammar school, university and medical school I am aware of all the application processes and interviewing processes.

I am outgoing and to keep active I play hockey for my local club and my university college.

Teaching Experience:

I have helped younger family members to grasp ideas and offer new ways of learning if they were struggling. I have had job roles in the past training new employees up and feel this is a mode of teaching.

I would like to extend my higher knowledge to helping students achieve top grades in their GCSE's and A-levels

Within my current course we have peer to peer teaching which has proved to be a very effective learning tool.

Tutoring Approach:

Different individuals have different learning styles, I for one am more visual. I would try to get an understanding of how the tutee learns best, and encourage them to engage in activities that would help them. For instance, if they are visual learners then get them to draw things out.

Encouragement and patience is of great importance and listening to the needs of the individual.

My role as a tutor would be to guide and encourage the tutee to reach their educational and professional goals.

Personal Description:
I am a friendly and approachable 25 year old Veterinary Surgeon, currently living in Liverpool and undertaking further training in order to become a European Specialist in Veterinary Dentistry. I also have a Masters Degree in Physiology from Cambridge University. I am passionate about Maths and the Sciences, and feel very fortunate to have a job where I use them on a daily basis. I love teaching students, particularly when I can aid understanding and recall by putting the information in their course into a real life context. Outside of work I am a keen footballer and Liverpool fan, and also enjoy playing rugby and cricket and reading French Literature.

Teaching Experience:

I have 3 of years teaching experience at Cambridge University, where I taught one to one/small group tutorials and practical classes, and also marked and assisted students with course work and dissertations. I also have experience working with younger people through coaching cricket, conducting mock interviews for Vet School and assisting with extra Maths teaching for primary school children.

Tutoring Approach:

I feel that the main benefit of private tuition is that it can be tailored to an individual. I therefore take a flexible, pupil-centric approach to tutoring, ensuring I cover any areas in which the student feels they would like more help. I am also happy to provide an overview of the course, focussing on core topics and those which frequently come up in exams if required. I like to work systematically and ensure that the student is completely happy with a topic before moving on to the next - some of the concepts we have to cover can be very tricky and I try to make it clear to my students that if there's anything at all that they're not sure about, I'll be happy to go through it for as long as we need to before they understand the subject.

Personal Description:
I am a friendly, patient and enthusiastic individual with a strong academic background and good teaching experience. I have a 1st class degree in Biology from the University of Leeds (for which I graduated first in my year). After working in the field of conservation and media I went on to complete a PhD in Environmental Anthropology at UCL.

I have a genuine passion for teaching and find it extremely rewarding inspiring students to reach their potential.

Please note that at the moment I am only available for intensive catchup/revision sessions during the summer holidays (July/August 2014) I also do one off sessions in interview training, particularly for those applying to universities.

Teaching Experience:

After finishing 'A' levels I worked as a lab technician at Villier's High School in Southall, where I was often asked to demonstrate practicals to GCSE students. As an undergraduate in Leeds I mentored GCSE students who were struggling academically. During my PhD I taught undergraduate courses on Human Ecology. I have always managed to successfully engage the students with the course material, and have been commended by students and other staff members for my teaching abilities.

Recently I have worked as a teaching assistant for the Department of Anthropology at UCL. I also worked for the Information Services Department training postgraduates and staff in using different computer software packages. I have just finished a short-term contract working as an associate lecturer at Oxford Brookes University. I am currently tutoring two GCSE students in maths and combined science and one in 'A' level biology.

Tutoring Approach:

I am a strong communicator and have a flare for teaching complex ideas in a simple concise way. I like to make learning as fun as possible and try to link real world examples to the material at hand. I am good at quickly identifying a student's strengths and weaknesses; enabling me to instill confidence in strength areas while addressing any gaps that may be present. I realize each student is different and I respond sensitively to each individual's needs concerning pace and learning style, at the same time making sure all the material is covered.

Personal Description:
18/03 - Please note that on UK Tutors as both student and tutor to pay a fee before addresses can be exchanged. I have had quite a few people think that I profit from this fee but I really do not, I too have to pay a fee between £10-£20.

I am a recent graduate of University of Nottingham where I studied Biochemistry and Genetics. I am looking to hopefully teach GCSE or A-level students that require help to get a better grade. I am currently not teaching younger students as I feel my skills are best suited to older students.

With regard to my CRB check, I was checked in 2013 by Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

Teaching Experience:

I am currently teaching:
1 A2 Biology (AQA)
2 A2 Chemistry (OCR)
2 AS Biology
1 AS Chemistry (OCR)
1 GCSE Sciences student
1 GCSE Chemistry and Maths
1 Year 9 student

I have taught:
2 A Level Biology (OCR)
1 GCSE Sciences (all three)
1 AS Chemistry (OCR)
1 GCSE Maths Foundation
1 GCSE Maths Higher (Edexcel) + AS Biology (AQA)
1 A2 Biology (AQA)
2 A2 Chemistry (OCR, Salters)
1 GCSE/ILETS English, AS Physics (AQA), Mathematics (MEI)

I teach Sunday to Thursday from 4pm to 9pm
Currently (17/03/2014 ) I am available to teach at these times:
Monday: 5:15-6:15
Tuesday: 4pm-5pm
Wednesday: Unavailable
Thursday: 8pm: 9pm
Sunday: 5pm-6pm, 8pm-9pm

Tutoring Approach:

After teaching solidly since November 2012, I have been able to further develop my teaching skills. To begin, I start with revision techniques, worksheets and make new, very detailed, class/revision notes with my students. After developing a solid understanding, I begin with exam questions as I have been able to collect a solid amount of questions (exam and school questions). Every lesson, I print out worksheets and notes for my students as well as give them homework. Essentially, what I offer are school lessons that are more detailed and focused than what they receive in school. Through these methods, I am able to thoroughly assess a student's abilities, increase them and hopefully better their grades. However, I stress, students must work hard themselves to achieve good grades.

Parents often ask me about discount, I am happy to discuss this for long-term students and 2 hours lessons

School Holiday (Easter, Summer and Christmas) - 20% off two hour lessons
A Level: £60 to £48
GCSE: £50 to £40

Personal Description:
I am a Natural Sciences undergraduate studying Chemistry at the University of Cambridge and I am of scholar of Jesus College. Last summer, I was also a visiting student at ETH Zürich, in the Laboratory of Surface Science and Technology. I would very much like to share my interest in science by teaching; there are few things more pleasing to me than successfully helping a student.

Outside academia, my main interest is music. I have a DipABRSM Diploma in Piano Performance, and hold a Jesus College Instrumental Award. I am also an oboist, playing notably in our school production of "Oliver!" and in the Cambridge University Music Society. I am also a keen badminton player, and am President of the college society.

Teaching Experience:

I currently have five students, with whom I have a good relationship. Throughout my academic career, I have often informally tutored my peers. At school, I was an assistant in Maths Surgery, reinforcing understanding of core material. I also helped at Maths and Science Masterclasses, encouraging and challenging the brightest children in our local area.
I have also taught beginners' piano to young children and tutored ABRSM Music Theory up to Grade 5.

Tutoring Approach:

My aim is to be as flexible as possible when tutoring, as I believe that teaching should be adapted for different learning styles and situations. The eventual results should however be similar - a strong and fundamental understanding of core concepts, the ability to apply these concepts in any capacity and the motivation & confidence to become a self-sufficient learner. Whether I achieve this by encouraging independent thinking or by developing skills in revision and exam technique is up to the student.

I am also very willing to assist in university applications for mathematics, natural sciences and medicine, both with the personal statement and interviews. I have helped many of my younger friends successfully through the process and my teachers have given me a good understanding of selection process.

Regarding music, I am willing to teach the piano, ABRSM Aurals for practical exams up to Grade 8 and ABRSM Music Theory up to Grade 5.

Personal Description:
I am currently a master's student at the London School of Economics and Political Science, studying a Master of Science in History of International Relations. I completed my undergraduate degree in History at University College London receiving a high 2:1.
I went to school in Athens, at the St. Catherine's British Embassy School, receiving 44 out of 45 marks in my International Baccalaureate exams with 7/7 in all the subjects I now tutor.
I have always enjoyed working with young people, volunteering with children through various organisations such as Habitat for Humanity and Camden Libraries since the age of 16. I began tutoring and mentoring while at school and have continued to tutor or mentor in some form every year, working with young people from the ages of 3 to 19. I find the process of helping young people excel academically, very rewarding and genuinely enjoy working with young people.
I am a very friendly, sociable and approachable person with a creative flair, developed through a love for writing and performing. I put my students' academic needs first and strive to help them as best I can to achieve their desired marks.

Teaching Experience:

Summer Private Tutor- 3 tutees
Taught IB-Level and A-Level History, English, Biology, Geography, Theatre Arts - knowledge of different examination boards, including Edexcel, OCR and AQA.
Covered problem areas, explained and gave tips for homework, implemented homework and revision techniques, helped with essay structuring and research.
Went over past paper questions, the best ways to answer the questions and useful techniques and tips to follow. Set timed tasks and past papers to be completed in the class, which were marked for the next lesson.
Gave Extended Essay support: proof reading and improvement advice. Drew on my own my own extensive research skills.
Ensured tasks were varied for each lesson in order to engage the students and keep lessons interesting, upbeat and refreshing. Created a friendly, stress-free environment, focusing on trust and having some fun while learning.
Maintained open communication with the parents so that they were kept up to date with their children's progress.
All tutees boosted their marks in the subject areas taught. One student improved her mark in IB Higher Level History and English A1 from a predicted level 5 to a level 7. Another of the tutees boosted his mark in IB Standard Level Biology from a predicted level 4 to a level 6 and in Standard Level Geography from a predicted level 5 to 6. My other tutee received all A*s in his History, English and Biology A-levels.
Received great feedback from my coordinator about parents being pleased with their children's renewed interest in the subjects they were being tutored.

Tutoring with Team Up (previously the Young Educational Learning Programme - YELP) Nov-Spring 2011 - 5 tutees
Taught GCSE-level History and English Language and Literature.
Provided a straightforward, interesting study technique, particularly for English literature and poem/prose analysis, which seemed to be the most challenging area.
The aim of the programme was to help students from disadvantaged backgrounds, achieving mostly Cs or Ds but also Bs, to reach their full academic potential. I provided plenty of mentoring and focused on fostering a positive attitude towards learning and further education.
Helped students boost their final marks. One student jumped from a B to an A* in English Language and Literature, two from C to an A in History, and one from a D to a C in English.
Received very positive feedback from organisers of the programme, both for the improved results attained, but also for the friendly and fun environment created while teaching.

Tutoring IGCSE - 2008/2009 - 4 tutees
As part of the International Baccalaureate Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) programme, I tutored IGCSE English Language and Literature, History, Drama, Geography and Biology while in my last two years of school.
I mostly covered problem areas, focusing on past paper practice tasks during the hour-long lessons.
The results were positive, with all students achieving Bs and above in the tutored subjects.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that what makes me a good tutor is the understanding that teaching is not just about laying down the facts. It is a process of developing a relationship of trust and engaging the student so that he or she genuinely enjoys learning about the subject. I find that once a student enjoys learning, it is much easier to encourage him or her to absorb the material, performing better in exams. I always try to establish this enthusiasm by varying my techniques, understanding my student's academic needs and keeping the atmosphere friendly yet focused. Every student is capable of boosting his or her marks with the right guidance and with practice. The right guidance involves looking at each student as an individual with specific academic requirements and needs and so I never use a sweeping approach to teaching, rather assessing each student's needs on a case by case basis.

Personal Description:
I have been working as a Neuroscience researcher for the past 8 years at the National Institute for Medical Research in London. Before that, I did a PhD in Molecular Oncology with the University of London, working in a Cancer Research UK lab. Overall, I have more than 10 years experience as a scientist using Molecular Biology to approach different fields of Medical Research.
I speak portuguese, french and spanish in addition to english. I also play the piano and practise different sports, mainly Capoeira (a brazilian fight/dance). I am also a keen amateur chef. Overall, I really enjoy learning new things and being a student as much as a teacher.

Teaching Experience:

I began tutoring when I was a Biochemistry undergraduate student. I worked with students from primary to A-levels and University helping them with Chemistry, Science, Biology and Biochemistry. Just as I was finishing my degree I became a junior assistant professor in the Faculty of Medicine, conducting practical Biochemistry lessons for first year Medicine students.
In the UK I have tutored Biology and Chemistry at GCSE and A level for students under different exam boards. I have done both specific, intensive preparation for exams and long-term tutoring aimed at improving the base knowledge on the subject and creating study methods that will allow the student to become independent and efficient.
As part of my research work I also regularly train younger scientists and PhD students, as well as undergraduate placement students.

Tutoring Approach:

On my first tutoring session with a new student we start by identifying what are the main challenges, what is the overall goal and how to break it into progressive manageable steps. We then establish timelines and start working! As work starts we constantly reassess problems and progress. Each lesson usually starts with a brief review and discussion where I lead to student to reflect about the importance understanding a particular subject and how it connects to our daily lives. The student will be asking and answering questions, working through examples and using schematic representations to consolidate knowledge. Progress is ultimately measured by the student's ability to explain what has been learned with enough detail and clarity to inform someone new to the subject.

Personal Description:
My name is Darryl and I graduated from The University of Southampton in June 2013 with a degree in Economics and Actuarial Science (A very Statistical and Mathematical based subject).

I have tutored for the past 4 years and I have enjoyed great success in helping my students to reach their full potential, and in many times, excel beyond their predicted grades. As a person who has just come out of education I have plenty of helpful tricks and tips to doing well in exams. I am also very familiar with the school curriculum as I have younger siblings, who I also tutor. What sets me apart from most is that as well as tutoring my students, I take the role of a mentor, to motivate, encourage and guide them towards success.

As a young teenager I was a student who was pressured by my parents do excel in school, this sometimes caused me to have a more rebellious attitude towards my studies. Thus, I realise the various difficulties many students face throughout their studies, and I believe that having this experience provides me with the ability to connect to students who either are struggling with their studies, or are disengaged with their school work.

I achieved straight A's and A*'s at GCSE at a very poor school, I then got offered a scholarship to attend an independent school where I achieved A's in Mathematics, Physics and Economics. Finally I completed my studies at University with an upper second class degree with honours. I now am on a gap year and about to start a teaching course with the vision of becoming a Secondary School teacher in the near future.

Teaching Experience:

I started teaching Primary school and GCSE students whilst I was in my final year in sixth form, I then went on to teach A-level students whilst I was at University. Throughout those years my proudest achievement has been motivating my students and changing their attitudes towards studying and school. I have been able to get my students to work much harder then they (or their parents) ever expected them to. I believe the reason for is that I am young and provide a more friend-like support, as opposed to a demanding parent or teacher. By doing this my students' feel that I can relate to them and thus we establish a respected relationship. In addition I have also tutored students for entrance exams (e.g. 11+) and I am happy to say I have had great success in doing this also.

I have travelled to tutor many of my students, as well as tutoring some of them in my own home. I have always catered to the preferences of my students and their parents and I continue to do so to get the best out of my students. I like to finish each of my lessons by briefing the parent(s)/guardian(s) of the student's ongoing progress and my future goals for them.

Tutoring Approach:

I spend a lot of time planning for sessions so that my students get the very best out of each lesson. I am a very organised person, and I like to set short term and long term goals for myself and my students. I also like to keep track of the performance of my students, both for my needs and theirs. I always ensure that my lessons are engaging, and I work towards building a good relationship with my students, encouraging them to ask questions without any hesitation. I make sure that my students are comfortable with me by building a friendly and trusting relationship; I believe this enables my students to feel easy and allows them to ask me many questions, which leads to a better learning experience.

I adapt my approach depending on my students' learning style as I feel this is the key to successful teaching. I have had a range of different students, from those who were demotivated and disengaged, to those who needed me for that extra help to reach their goals.

Past papers is a very important part of my lessons, once I am able to cover the concepts and theories of the subject I swiftly turn the attention of my pupils to past papers. I believe practising these papers are definitely the best way of achieving great exam results.

Personal Description:
I'm a qualified teacher with experience in tutoring students from GCSE to undergraduate level. I received a Physics degree from Cardiff University, before getting married and moving to Sheffield to do my teacher training and a PhD.

Throughout this time I have been involved in teaching and tutoring, whether more formally in schools and at Sheffield University, or more informal private tuition to GCSE students and an engineering undergraduate.

My teaching seeks to develop understanding, whilst being enjoyable, and generally includes practical activities as well as written and oral work. In this respect I have spent many sessions in primary schools, secondary schools and public spaces (including the Winter Gardens, Sheffield) doing public Science teaching, demonstrations and promotions. This has helped me learn how to help everyone understand various aspects of Maths and Science, regardless of background or age.

Outside of teaching and tutoring I enjoy cycling and getting out into the Peak district.

Teaching Experience:

Whilst completing my teacher training I taught students from 12-18 and across the ability spectrum in all three Sciences.

Since then I have been involved in delivering tutorials and lectures at Sheffield University to undergraduate students in Physics and Maths. During this time I have privately tutored both undergraduate and GCSE students.

Tutoring Approach:

I vary my approach to tutoring depending on the needs, ability and age of the student, but in all cases I'm patient, friendly and encouraging.

When there is sufficient time, students are encouraged to complete some diagnostic work to establish both their ability and confidence across the curriculum. This allows the tutorials to be planned appropriately for each specific student.

Just before the exam, exam technique help and troubleshooting can make a significant difference to the students performance and confidence, even with just one or two sessions.

Personal Description:
I am a Spanish postgraduate student doing a MSc in Paleobiology at the University of Bristol, where I currently live. I mainly have anl academic background in Biology (BSc in Biology + MSci in Evolutionary Biology) and I am now expanding my studies in the field. Hopefully I will starting my PhD studies the next Autumn Term.

Teaching Experience:

I have more than 5 years of experience as a private tutor both for Spanish and English students of all ages (from 7 to 30). However, most of them of them were in their teens and first years of University. I have managed also in a satisfactory way tutoring with students with special learning needs.

Tutoring Approach:

I strongly believe in a relaxed and pleasant teaching environment as the process of learning is controlled in an essential proportion by motivation and emotional mood. Additionally, I am really keen in Science, and in particular actually passionate about Biology. Therefore, as I have also good communicative skills, I feel I can transmit this passion to my students.

Lately, I have become really keen on languages as I am basically living a daily cultural interchange in UK. As a native speaker of Spanish, I could teach the language in a thorough way and virtually managed any level the student may have.

Personal Description:
An enthusiastic, inspiring tutor with a PhD in Physics.

I have a long history with Imperial College London where I have studied and worked since my undergraduate degree. I worked in the Theoretical Physics group for six months as a Research Assistant after being awarded a PhD in Physics, studying Observational Cosmology. Prior to this, I was awarded an MSci in Physics with Theoretical Physics (First Class honours). During my PhD, I worked part time as an undergraduate teaching assistant for Maths, Physics and Computing courses.

I am an enthusiastic tutor with a love for Physics and Maths. I am passionate about education and sharing knowledge with my students - I will soon be starting a secondary teacher training course for which I have been awarded a prestigious scholarship from the Institute of Physics.

Teaching Experience:

In the past I have volunteered at a Homework Club in Earls Court for disadvantaged 8-16 year old children, which was extremely rewarding. I worked on Maths and Science homework once a week for several months.

I also volunteered as an A-level maths and physics tutor in a mixed sixth form at Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School through the Pimlico Connection volunteering scheme at Imperial College. I tutored small groups of one or two students for a couple of hours a week for five months.

I was employed as a part time undergraduate teaching assistant at Imperial College throughout the three and a half years of my PhD. I assisted staff in teaching maths, physics and computing courses. This included assisting students with problem sheets, supervising project work, marking reports and giving students individual feedback.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to develop a problem solving approach, showing you how to approach problems so that you can apply existing knowledge to new examples. I think that a tutor should demonstrate a passion for their subject and be able to excite others about it.

I have a knowledge of the National Curriculum and am familiar with the GCSE and A-level specifications.

Personal Description:
I am a graduate of Loughborough University with a First class honours degree and a fully qualified, CRB checked mathematics teacher. With recent legislation regarding gaining a C or above at GCSE, I am acutely aware of the importance of mathematics to the future career prospects of the students I tutor.
I am absolutely passionate about my subjects especially Algebra & Trigonometry.

Teaching Experience:

Having taught at two well known local high schools, I have experience of teaching students in Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. During this time, I have developed an excellent knowledge of National Curriculum requirements along with GCSE, AS and A2 teaching experience.

I also have experience of tutoring mature students to GCSE level.

Tutoring Approach:

I recognise that mathematics is a subject which students find difficult and consequently one to one tutoring is an ideal solution for some to review or recap ideas that may have been misunderstood in class.
The emphasis for me is to build a good rapport with the student and thereby tailor the lessons to specific individual requirements.
I find my work immensely rewarding with 100% of students achieving their target grade or higher.
