Personal Description:
I'm an assistant lecturer at The Faculty of Medicine, currently working towards my PhD in Medical and Molecular Genetics in Birmingham University . I possess a high sense of humor, co-operative spirit, love to work within a team, ready for a part-time job, and I have the ability to work under pressure.

Teaching Experience:

7 yrs.of teaching 4Th year medical students the curriculum of my speciality in Medicine.
7yrs. of teaching students of Nursing.
Private tuition.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to Tutoring and practice in undergraduate and Adults education:
encourages contact between students and faculty, develops reciprocity and cooperation among students .encourages active learning, gives prompt feedback ,emphasizes time on task, communicates high expectations, respects diverse talents and ways of learning .We can do it ourselves - with a little bit of help... Learning doesn't end with a school diploma. Adults all over the world are sitting in classrooms, community halls and cafes, learning new skills or knowledge, for fun or for profit. But what are best ways to teach them? If you find yourself teaching adults, then using the wide experiences of your participants, creating a learner-centered environment and understanding their needs and expectations will help make it a successful experience for you and them.
I think a "good course" is one which meets the following five criteria:
Challenges students to HIGHER LEVEL LEARNING.
Uses ACTIVE FORMS OF LEARNING.
Gives FREQUENT and IMMEDIATE FEEDBACK to students on the quality of their learning.
Uses a STRUCTURED SEQUENCE OF DIFFERENT LEARNING ACTIVITIES.
Has a FAIR SYSTEM FOR ASSESSING AND GRADING STUDENTS.
Self Evaluation:
People who have chosen careers as teachers owe it to themselves, to their students, and to their institutions to fulfill their responsibilities as effectively as possible. That the only way to improve one's teaching over time is to continuously monitor and evaluate that teaching, and then to use the information obtained to make needed changes. The various techniques, especially when used together, can give us the deep personal and professional satisfaction of being able to say, after a single course or after a career of teaching, "I did my best, and it was good!"

Personal Description:
I am currently studying Dentistry at University of Birmingham. I have completed my GCSE'S and A level's at King Edward Camp Hill Boys. At A level I obtained 3 A's in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. I enjoy relaxing in my spare time by drawing. I participate in many sporting activities such as football, cricket, rugby and athletics. I also aid in local charity events such as the solihull bikeathon/ walkathon.

Teaching Experience:

I have extensive experience working as a tutor mentoring children for their entrance examinations. I helped Students at my Mothers tutoring service as well as my younger sibling. At King Edwards Camp Hill School for boys I tutored students who were preparing fro GCSE'S as well as A levels. Mentoring was a very rewarding scheme as it involved me helping underachieving pupils raise their grades.

Tutoring Approach:

Each pupil will be treated individually depending upon their needs. I have a very structured approach to learning and have very high expectations of my pupils. I shall use the students appropriate curriculum to help them go through each topic and then using past papers I shall test them on each topic. I Shall then discuss with them where they could improve and help them understand where they went wrong. This is a vigorous method but a successful one too.

I tend to be well liked by learners of all ages as I insist on mutual respect in the classroom. I'm firm when needs be but by making learning fun and accessible to pupils, I find I rarely need to be.
