Tutoring Approach:

Professional and friendly approach, looking for real, measurable progress and increased confidence for the learner
Most young learners need a tutor who understands the requirements of the GCSE / AS / A Level exams and can train students in tasks that will prepare them for these

Personal Description:
I am a graduate of Oxford University in Engineering and Computing Science. I am fluent in French (as well as English and Polish). From an early age, I had a passion for maths and physics and at school, I imagined how I would envisage teaching those subjects differently. I would often explain things in an alternative way to my friends to help their understanding.
Please note that I also teach engineering topics at university level, usually up to first or second year, depending on the topics.

Teaching Experience:

I have a variety of tutoring experience at both university and high school level (AS and A level). I like to begin teaching with a session to become acquainted with the tutee and their needs.

At Oxford, I studied under the tutorial system which usually meant one professor to one or two students and this taught me to express myself clearly. I often studied one-to-one with a coursemate where learning was achieved through exchanging knowledge by teaching each other.

Tutoring Approach:

I know that every person learns differently and I will be looking to tailor my tutoring style to every student's particular needs. For maths, engineering and physics, I will aim to first establish a thorough understanding of the basics concepts, which is fundamental to making progress in scientific subjects; this will be followed by lots of practice. For French, the key is to be comfortable with the language and I will aim to conduct lessons entirely in French as soon as possible.

Personal Description:
I have been a teacher of English for over 10 years and have worked in the UK, Japan, UAE, Qatar and Italy. This was a fantastic opportunity for me to experience different cultures and education. I worked in British International Schools that all followed the British Curriculum.
I have a great passion and enthusiasm for my subject and I love to share this with my students. I hope I can make a difference and help those who have potential but are currently lacking confidence and under achieving. With support they are able to meet their own expectations.

Teaching Experience:

An experienced English teacher of 9 years. In this time I have been head of department and KS3 Co-ordinator. I have a thorough knowledge of many examination boards and I have also been a marker. I have a good understanding of the curriculum and how to achieve the required levels/grades.

I have recently learned that the students I tutored last term (academic year 2014-2015) all gained C and above in English Language and Literature. This is a reflection of my input but more so the dedication and motivation of my tutees. I am very proud of their commitment and hard work.

Tutoring Approach:

I think tuition should not be thought of by the student as extra homework but more one of support and advice. It is the opportunity to have one to one lessons in a safe and comfortable environment. My approach is positive , tailored to the needs of each student and relevant.

Personal Description:
I am a native speaker of Russian, currently living in Manchester, university educated with years of teaching experience of Russian and English as a foreign language. I offer high quality Russian language courses via Skype and in person for foreign students of all levels.
I will help you to choose an appropriate individual educational program, and the quantity of hours per week. Whether you are a beginner, or at an intermediate or advanced level, I can offer Russian language courses suitable to you.
k.com/groups/truerussian/
Besides, I can provide a reasonable discount if you pay by a block of 5 lessons (it will cost you only 15 pounds (that is 23 dollars) per one-hour lesson by Skype or in person) via paypal though they take some minimal fees it is yet the cheapest way of payment. Or by bank transfer.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Oxana

Teaching Experience:

I am passionate about teaching. I hold 6 years of experience in teaching pre-school English (for children aged 3 to 5), English as a subject for years one to nine students, General and Business English for employees of different companies and Russian as a foreign language privately

Tutoring Approach:

I use the communicative method. The main focus is on using the language. You start speaking Russian from the very first lesson, even if you`re a beginner.
Russian grammar will be introduced to you in a clear structured format - you will see that there is an understandable logic. You will not be overloaded with grammar tasks and will learn only as much grammar as you need in order to speak and understand Russian.
If you`d like to use a book during the course, together we can choose a book that will best address your needs. At the same time, most lessons are held without the use of a book. The book would mainly be used for reference, providing structure, and homework material.
I like the idea of total immersion because we all really learn by doing, and the more you practice Russian, the more you will learn.
