| Personal Description: I have recently graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in English Literature. I am a friendly, honest and flexible person, with a true passion for literature. |
Teaching Experience: Aiding in the construction of personal statements for University entrance applications AS Level English Literature Essay construction technique for first year undergraduates |
Tutoring Approach: I believe in dialogue as well as instruction and so encourage the active participation of pupils; the sharing of ideas to achieve a deeper understanding of a given text. I feel it is important that the student's own interpretations are incorporated into the framework of a session, to stimulate both their literary technique, their creative imagination and their analytical skills. I do, however, provide documents with important information and extra reading if necessary, to support study. Above all, I believe tutoring should encourage both a relaxed yet productive atmosphere, allowing a pupil to develop and refine their own ideas and interpretations. I hope my sessions are instructive, fun, and inspire confidence. |

| Personal Description: I am a second year student at Tower Hamlets College currently undertaking A-levels in Maths, Further Maths and chemistry. Maths is by nature very difficult at A2 and I therefore have needed to learn quickly and effectively throughout my last year at college. Also having a younger sister has given me quite a lot of experience in teaching at the GCSE level. I am a very sociable and relaxed guy who has tutoring experiences. |
Teaching Experience: I have over one year experience in tutoring at colleges as well as secondary schools. I worked as a tutor at various schools and colleges in tower hamlets. As a tutor I work as an assistant to the teacher and working one on one with problematic students. Assisting the teacher to take care of administration tasks and upholding the rules of the classroom. I have always received positive feedback from all of my students. |
Tutoring Approach: My approach would most definitely be to make sure that comprehension of the subjects is thorough so that an idea/theory that has been learned can be applied with relative ease. I think comprehension is key as it allows the student to then build with further knowledge and concepts in higher education. |

| Personal Description: Fun, friendly and a hard-working person! I am 19 years old and currently a medical student at Imperial College London. |
Teaching Experience: Not much! But since I have recently given my GCSEs and A-levels, I am well aware of the content and style of various courses that schools offer. I achieved A*s in all my 10 GCSE subjects and have myself practised exam techniques and revision styles that are taught by tutors. I do have a little teaching experience too; I volunteered to help teach younger students for a year while in Sixth-form. I also take interest while helping my friends and younger brothers in academic subjects. |
Tutoring Approach: Being a target-orientated person, I believe that one must have a sense of direction and a goal in order to succeed. I shall set achievable and realistic targets for you that we shall work hard towards in order to achieve them. There are many ways a person can learn; I will try and find the best way for you. I shall try and create a comfortable atmosphere to work in and keep a friendly relationship with you. Once arranged, you may contact me out of hours to discuss any problems or for any last-minute advice before exams. |

| Personal Description: I am a university student, currently studying Actuarial sciences in the University of Manchester. I am simply passionate for Mathematics, which doesn't really imply that I'm always in the mood to study, but that I enjoy solving problems! |
Teaching Experience: Since the time when I was in my 9th grade, I have been the the type of student who is frequently approached by other students for notes and difficulties. Even teachers recommended me to their students, should the latter encounter any problems. A-Level was notably the time of my life when I really got to show what my teaching potential was worth, responsibly helping my fellow class-mates to overcome their academic difficulties. I do admit that that time was marked by intensive tutor sessions and many recesses had to be sacrificed; but in the end, the effort was well paid off, by the grace of god, when I witnessed the same pupils, earning great grades (Shukar-Alhamdulillah). |
Tutoring Approach: I believe a person has not fulfilled his/her duty, if he keeps the knowledge that he owns to himself/herself. Knowledge is like an ocean to me, that knows no bounds; it differs only in the respect that each drop here actually plays a significant role. I not just take pride in imparting knowledge but consider it to be my duty as well, that I must fulfill. |

| Personal Description: I am currently studying an Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics degree at Kingston University and have taken a year out on my course. I am absolutely passionate about teaching!!The main reason for why I love to tutor is the idea of being able to pass on my knowledge to other students..I think its the greatest gift you could give! |
Teaching Experience: Although I have not completed any teaching course of any kind, I have a relative amount of teaching experience as I have been privately tutoring for the past 4 years. My experience has helped me develop my communication and organisational skills, and these skills have helped make the student's learning process easier and efficient. |
Tutoring Approach: I believe the key to tutoring is not about the student trying to understand the work and listen to the tutor; it's the tutor who should cater for the student's need by understanding what they find difficult. Also, never be to embarrassed or shy to ask anything..after all, I'm only here to help :) |
