I hold a PGCE in Modern Languages and English, a PGCE in Dyslexia/ SpLD and a Master 's Degree in Special and Inclusive Education. I am of French and Italian origin, therefore speak both languages at native speaker level, and I also speak English fluently. My Spanish is excellent and I can, and have done so, teach German too.

Teaching Experience:

I am currently teaching French and Spanish to GCSE level, and tutoring privately several students for French A'level, as well as dyslexia / reading and writing difficulties (both primary and secondary age). I taught Italian to adults, up to GCSE level, at the local college, for several years, and English as a Second Language for many years when I worked abroad, preparing students for the TOEFL qualification. I am also the Regional Primary Languages Trainer, teaching primary school pupils and training teachers.

I come from a mixed Spanish/Argentinian family, which has provided me with an insight into both cultures and language varieties. Besides enjoying the teaching of the beautiful Spanish language, I love traveling and experiencing different cultures: in the last 10 years, through my studies and job opportunities, I have had the chance to live in Portugal, Slovenia, Argentina, the U.K. and Algeria, besides 4 different Spanish cities. Even though I am moving less in the last years because I now have a kid, I still enjoy very much the cultural richness breathed in music and movies, as well as personal development activities, such as Biodanza. Teaching Experience:

I started teaching Spanish in 2005 while living in Slovenia. I did not imagine the rich universe behind this task. Since then I have done many teacher training courses, the last one a Master Teacher Training for Teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language in University of Barcelona, finished in July 2011. In the last 7 years I worked at Instituto Cervantes, Kings College London, Merton Adult Education College, among others. I also started teaching online in 2008, working as a freelancer for Telelangue and Learship, the top European e-learning providers. The online methodology is the one I use now. I also work in the organization of language learning and cultural trips to Spain.

Student needs defines a different course for each individual, so during our first meeting we will discuss this. From there, according to the goals, background and personality of each learner, I create a course to address your needs. Classes are dynamic, fun, as well as following the learners pace. The great thing about this system is that we can stop at any point to clarify and explain further and again any challenging topic. We can work in mini projects to help you produce you own language from the first day. I believe in the independence on the learner and provide you with tools for building your own skills. I use a very user-friendly web based virtual classroom where we meet and speak live one-to-one during the whole class, seeing each other through our webcams, while working collaboratively on graphic materials.

I hold a Masters in Photography and have been in the photographic business with over 15 years, I have used all modern digital cameras from compact, Digital SLR and up to and including Medium Format Digital Cameras.

I specialise in Wedding, Commercial, Advertising, Insurance and Injury based photography working to Licentiate standard of the British Institute of Professional Photography and Associate of The Royal Photographic Society. I have produced high quality images for wedding couples as well as using my training and skills to produce images for websites, restaurants, Advertising and Photo Restoration along with producing images which stand up to legal and ethical scrutiny in both injury and insurance work. I have written training methods for photography, using Flash, Getting the Most from High Definition Capture as well as working with other photographic trainers in the wider field of photography. During this time I have trained photographers in specialised subject such as Marco, Flash, Camera Care and Post Processing Software.

I use fine optics and microscopes and prepare images for web and magazine layout for medical publications using Photoshop Techniques.

I am a kind person and I do realise that I was once a beginner in this area, while it will not happen overnight, my experience has shown that my clients can fastrack their abilities by the benefit of my methods.
I have just completed an MA Photography in where I undertook a project which was an assertive evaluation on landscape photography, highlighting the factor of scale and the part it plays with both the picture and the viewer.

Using traditional and digital photographic techniques together with specialised optics. my work explored conventional landscapes alongside fragments in extraordinary detail. My work challenged the traditional view that photography is a science or art, demonstrating that it can be both.

Within two years I want to build on my MA Photography and hopefully study for a PhD in this area. I also want to build on my Associate status of The Royal Photographic Society and want to aim for a Fellowship of this organisation within two years by September 2014.

I have made some very good friendships in the area of photography who are of enormous help to me.

I've got a strong academic record, winning the prize for the top graduating student across all courses in the Arts & Humanities faculty at University College London in 2015. Maths: A* grade in A-level Maths, with an average of 99% across the 6 modules

Politics: First class grade in every module taken at UCL.

Tutoring Approach:

For school level: I have a friendly and informal style, based on building up a good relationship with the pupil, as this is the real advantage of the one-on-one set-up. Classes are structured, but I adapt things based on the situation and diverge from the lesson plan if necessary. I also work extensively with past and mock papers because I think practice is the best way to learn. Finally when I take on a pupil I am committed - if the pupil has problems or needs help between lessons I'm happy to be contacted via email.

For university level: I take an ad hoc approach depending on the student - I also like to keep things fun and informal. Particularly in essay subjects, I emphasise the need for a clear argument and structure, attributes highly valued at UK universities.

I am an Economics graduate from Hanover University, Germany and teach part-time in a successful private college in the city of Bath. Since 2004 I have been working as a freelance tutor of Economics, as a translator (from English into German and vice versa), as a journalist and book author. Prior to that I worked as a technical support engineer for four years and as an office manager for six years. I live in Bath, am married and have two children. I love teaching, especially Economics, because it deals with some of the most fundamental problems of our society. To solve them we need to understand Economics.

Teaching Experience:

Since 2004 I have been tutoring AS and A2-level students in small groups and one-to-one, and university preparation courses in classes of up to 15 students. I have taught the AQA, Edexcel, and OCR syllabuses. Most of the individual students were re-sitting exams, most of whom improved their grade, often significantly.

Tutoring Approach:

First of all I ascertain any particular areas the student needs help with most urgently. I then review the basics with the student to make sure that these have been well understood. We then systematically work through the required subject matter, checking progress with the help of exam-style questions and past examination papers.

Teaching Experience:

Teacher of Mathematics in Oxfordshire State Secondary and Head of Maths in Private School in Cyprus. Private tuition of Higher and National 5 in St Andrews with several students. Good success rate.

Tutoring Approach:

Assess student's current knowledge and requirements, including timescale required for goals/exams and determine a plan for tutoring accordingly. Expect the process to be one of mutual responsibility - a partnership with a common goal to be achieved. Failure not an option!

I have a Masters degree in Global Politics from University of London. I have worked for global media and reported from Syria, Turkey and the rest of the Middle East.

I give private lessons as well as conducting group sessions.

Teaching Experience:

I have been giving Turkish lessons since 2006 to adults as well as children.

I follow several books which I decide according to students' needs. For GCSE and A Level exams I follow my students' classroom books.

Personal Description:
I grew up in south-west London, in Twickenham, before attending Tiffin School (Kingston-Upon-Thames) and Cambridge University, where I was awarded my BA (Hons) degree in History of Art. I have always engaged with extracurricular activities with enthusiasm, something which my educational institutions have given me ample opportunity to do.

My main passion has been acting. It has provided many opportunities to meet and get to know a huge range of different people, all in a challenging, intense environment. Fundamentally, it is the opportunity to engage with the perspective of another person and to attempt to embody this in actions and speech. It requires a performer to listen to and work with others on stage, and to work within a flexible, productive relationship - this is essential for any student-teacher relationship, as a dialogue begins to emerge.

My other interests have similarly complemented my academic pursuits: I have played rugby union for 14 years, up to and including university level, and used to play the french horn in the school orchestra. Both activities gave me an opportunity to voice my individual contribution to the group whilst working within a team, invaluable experience for academic discussion as well as confidence in many other areas of life. They offer different approaches to problem solving and develop some of the broader skills essential for academic success, such as self-expression, articulation, flexibility and confidence.

Teaching Experience:

My experience includes working with primary school students (age 4-6), through a voluntary program at secondary school. This involved helping children to learn to read. The weekly session required empathy and flexibility on my part, demanding an understanding that each child`s ability was completely unique, and that my approach needed to be modified to fit each person. In particular, I had to cultivate patience and a desire to listen and to understand everything the child was saying.

Whilst at university I also participated in a student run mentoring scheme, which gave unprivileged children the opportunity to understand life and work at Cambridge. It was a fascinating opportunity to understand some of the social and personal blocks to academic confidence, as well as offering ways in which these problems might be developed and overcome. Most importantly, it was a joyful experience to be able to help a younger person, and to understand that they were a unique person with their own approach to problems and solutions. By listening to him, I gradually learnt the ways in which they best communicated and how I could use those situations to our advantage as a student-teacher pair.

More recently, I have participated in a student-run university theatre tour which also comprised educational workshops. These workshops were a much bigger part of the tour than we had originally thought, and proved to be challenging at times. This was partly from the language barrier (many classes spoke little to no English, and were often too embarrassed to speak at all), but also from the unpredictable nature of the students. We had to work on our feet, employing what resources we had in a way which was meaningful, cumulative and ultimately led to an end. Our exercises required an overall structure and an ultimate purpose, but we also wanted to adjust this according to their reactions. Though I initially found this challenging, towards the end of the tour I could take charge of workshops and lead them with ease.

Tutoring Approach:

Teaching and intellectual discussion have always been an important part of my family life, and it is an activity which I enjoy on a personal as well as professional level. My time at university has developed my ability to think in this way, as well as providing an environment in which I was surrounded by these kinds of discussion, with both professors and students. The emphasis on close-contact supervision periods at Cambridge taught me the importance of helping each student understand their individual form of expression.

I would avoid didactic repetition and seek to challenge the student and invite them to contribute. As well as work done outside the tutoring time period, I would encourage tasks such as presentations and prepared discussions as much as possible. I believe this work lays an essential base for passionate intellectual discussion, and it is something which certainly helped me in my university interview.

Coupled with this development of interest in particular subject areas, I would try to help the student's method of arguing and offer sustained, constructive advice on how that might be more effective. A university candidate is only as successful as their ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, something which may require exercises as different as confidence building or syntax and grammar. But as well as this self-belief and self expression, the student would need to acknowledge that academic (and educational) progress can be achieved by listening to others and attempting to understand their point of view. This dialogic aspect is essential to my tutoring approach.
