Teaching Experience:

I taught a string group and an orchestra to a high enough standard to perform on a tour of paris. During my years at university gaining my BSc (Hons) I taught beginners to play stringed instruments including the violin and guitar and aided them in music theory. During my working career I was employed by the National Society for Epilepsy, where I aided adults with learning disabilities and brain damage with their day to day lives, also helping them with any day-release college work or activities they may have been given. I have also assisted with many university dissertations; the layout, grammer, spelling and oxford referencing systems.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is fairly relaxed. The student will set a goal, whether private or academic and we will work towards it with minimal pressure to acheive objectives in a stress free manner. This allows the subject to become less daunting and punishing and more manageable and enjoyable.

Although I cannot guarantee it, my pupils generally are able to upgrade by about 20% - as long as they are willing to do the hard work involved.

I generally work in parallel with the schoolwork - I do not like to interfere with the teacher's methods. This also means that I cover ALL the syllabus thoroughly.

If you live within about 3-4 miles I would come to your house. My standard private rate is 30.00 per hour for one-to-one tuition at a student's own home. This includes all of my preparation time and any exam papers or other materials used. I will also recommend the purchase of some revision and problem books. For greater distances there may be an addition fee involved.

Currently a PhD Student in Lancaster University Management Science Department of Management School. Graduated from Industrial Engineering Departments of two highly reputed universities of Turkey (Bogazici & Middle East technical Universities for M.Sc. and B.Sc.)
I have both an Engineering and Management Background due to my Major, which is capable of fundamental maths (basic maths, calculus, geometry, linear algebra, etc.), physics (mechanics, electric theory, etc) and business management (statistics, quality control, present value analysis).

A native Turkish speaker, who can teach grammar, pronounciation, literature, vocabulary both for practical purposes for daily survival or improvement in literal language skills.

Teaching Experience:
I have three years teaching experience in terms of tutorship in different types and levels of university courses mentioned above. One-to-one, class lecturing and subject presentation incldues my styles of teaching up-to-now.

Tutoring Approach:
Conceptual perception of the subjects are supported practical recitative problem solving sessions in my tutoring approach. This reinforces the comprehensibility of students and increase the desire to learn the subjects. I provide theortical references (i.e. textbook materials) and practical resources (i.e. related exercises) beforehand and assure to learn the key points in the subjects of any course before starting to solve exercise problems.

I can supply learning materials or other resources (texbook, dictionary, audio-visual aids, etc.) for Turkish learning to be helpful in pronounciation, grammar an vocabulary.
