I am a qualified teacher and Head of Department with over 20 years of experience, in well known independent schools.

I specialise slightly more in Spanish but teach both Spanish and French to GCSE, IGCSE, A-level and Pre-U and IB. I work as an examiner for IGCSE, Pre-U and the IB, and have a good deal of experience in preparation for Oxbridge applications and Common Entrance exams. I am usually very flexible during the school holidays, but am also able to schedule lessons for evenings and weekends during term time.

I can drive to you, but have to charge some travel costs. I am equally happy to work online or have students come to my house.

This can not always be addressed within a school environment, as it can be difficult to differentiate the topic which is being taught to a large number of pupils. I believe that tutoring is about guiding a child to find their own way towards an answer and not making them follow your way as they may not understand the process which you have followed.
