Personal Description:
I am an experienced teacher with qualified teachers status, who has taught in England and abroad. I have been helping children build up the gaps in their learning level since 1994. I am able to discover various learning styles to help children improve their learning. I am currently a supply teacher teaching in Hertfordshire and in Luton. Due to my vast Experience in teaching in various schools as a supply teacher I have an in depth knowledge of the national curriculum for maths and English for key stage 1 and 2 , from years reception to year 6 and have always received positive feedback from students parents. I am a mother of two teenage boys. i now only have tuition sessions in my home. so if you are willing to travel to me i am happy to help .

Teaching Experience:

I have a BA.Ed from abroad and soon after graduation I taught English and literature for two years in a secondary school(year 8 and 9). In 2005 after I gained my PGCE primary and have been teaching in primary schools since then. , covering years 1 to 6 in various schools in london . I now teach in stevenage and surrounding towns. I have been a supply teacher and Tutor for over 10 years .

Tutoring Approach:

when teaching children on a one to one basis, I usually start by giving them a general assessment on their reading and problem solving skills. After this I am able to plan for each child on an individual basis on how to help them improve their levels and fill gaps in their learning. Due to the large number of students that i help i am not able to travel to children any longer so children come to my home for tuition but only in special circumstances do i travel to a child's home on Sundays . I normally teach the children for an hour and then give them homework for further skill practice. I also help children and parents draw up a reading and learning timetable which is very easy to follow, this has proven to be very effective in the past, in helping children become independent learners. My approach is to be friendly but professional and help children relax in order to enjoy learning.

Personal Description:
I consider myself to be an enthusiastic, responsible and very organised person who likes to transmit calmly and in a methodical manner. Throughout my life I have attained an open mind towards the needs and desires of the people in my vicinity. My friends are from all walks of life and my frequent travels to places within Europe and further abroad have given me a great insight in different cultures and customs. I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people, and thrive on increasing my circle of friends.

Teaching Experience:

In my previous employment at The Macarena Hospital (Seville-Spain), I worked on a voluntary basis for a period of approximately two years, and with a frequency of one day a week, with hospitalised children. In this position I assisted the children with their class work.
Also, I have taught English (basic level) once a week, to my work colleagues in this previous employment (The Macarena Hospital - Seville-Spain). Furthermore, I currently teach Spanish language, both written and conversational, to a work colleague at my current job, supplemented by correcting any completed homework that I give to him at the end of each teaching session. It is with great pleasure that I observe the steady improvement in his knowledge of the fundamentals of the Spanish language and the gained confidence in his verbal expressions.

Tutoring Approach:

I am a patient person who likes to teach. My experience as a Spanish tutor is perhaps limited, but I have ample experience as a tutor of other subjects in previous employment settings. I always endeavor to find the most suitable and appropriate way to teach the subjects to my students. The student is always of my primary concern, and I make sure to create an atmosphere that allows for critical feedback in order to further improve and enhance the learning experience for both the student and myself. It is of my opinion that a satisfactory experience for the student increases the chance of achieving the intended results.

Personal Description:
I am a qualified teacher with a Master's degree in English Literature. I have also recently graduated with a First class Honours degree in Physiotherapy from Salford University.

While studying for the Physiotherapy degree I have undertaken tutoring work online concentrating on study skills assignment support, and proofreading.

Teaching Experience:

I have experience of teaching within a local college and taught students from the age of 16 years old and above. This was primarily focused on Literacy and Study Skills. During this time I also taught students from a range of EU and international students focusing on their grasp of English as a second language. During this time I followed a Government-set curriculum to help students achieve G.C.S.E. equivalent grades to allow them to progress onto Access courses and beyond.

During my last degree I worked with students with learning difficulties including hearing impariments, dyslexia and dyspraxia. This involved notetaking, assignment structure and time management skills. More recently I have worked as a tutor online helping with essay planning and structuring, proof reading and correction of written work for spelling, grammar and paragraph restructuring, time management and organisational skills, referencing and completion of reference lists and proofreading for Further/Higher education students, up to Masters level.

I also have experience of helping international students in terms of organising the study skills, supporting them, and mentoring them on their difficult academic journey. I have also recently assisted with international publishing projects, mainly in the healthcare field

Tutoring Approach:

I take a structured and methodical approach to helping students and believe that if the right foundation is set and appropriate planning implemented, the student will achieve to the best of their ability.

For all assignments work I use a University-based academic writing skills format currently in use at the University of Salford.

I am offering tuition online, via email. Once we have agreed the way forward I will give you an honest appraisal of what services I am able to offer and the time that this is likely to take.

I am happy to send references if required. I have a CRB check from my Physiotherapy degree which will be updated by my current employer.

Please note that I am unable to write your academic assignments for you as this would be unethical.

Personal Description:
Well, hello there! My name is Terianne. I am American. From near New York City. I lived in New York City for a long time. Then I moved to Rome and now here I am in fantastic magical Brighton! Well, in Hove, actually! I ride my bicycle to get around, I do yoga, (Bikram hot yoga and other kinds). I organize comedy nights, I write a blog and nothing makes me happier than meeting new people and this is the right place to do it!

Teaching Experience:

I taught for ten years in Rome, Italy at a school called Wall Street School of English. I loved teaching there. The students were fantastic. In addition to grammar and conversation classes, I started a Drama Club and we did shows for the rest of the school at Christmas. I miss it.

I have also taught at Brighton Language College and I have done a lot of private tutoring. Mostly adults or young adults and some children. I have also taught acting and improvisation so my classes are seriously fun. Both serious AND fun.

Tutoring Approach:

I love the English language and I love teaching! English so weird and wacky and expressive. (Maybe you will need a dictionary to look up those words! :-) ) Unfortunately for you, English can be also a bit difficult. I know. But let's not focus on that. Let's focus on having fun, let's focus on the joy of learning and then what will happen is that the silly mistakes we make will only make us laugh. We will laugh a lot and you will learn a lot. That's the best way to learn.

As for me, I am a trained actress and comedienne so I will always keep you entertained and the lessons will always be lively. And I expect you to do your homework! Just because you hire a teacher, doesn't mean you're going to learn: you have to do the work!
