Tutoring Approach:
I understand that each student is different and has individual requirements. I first arrange to meet the pupil (and their family where appropriate) face-to-face and on a no-fee basis to discuss the requirements and identify the subject areas they are finding the most difficult. If we both agree to start personal tuition, we then work through the relevant syllabus and I simplify and explain the areas of difficulty using examples and visual aids. I try to build up the confidence of the pupil as much as I can, as I see this as a crucial aspect. I also set homework if this is desired by the pupil and family, including set exam questions relevant to the syllabus.

I am a 23 year old South African female, who has a first class Bachelor of Journalism Degree in Journalism and English from Rhodes University in South Africa. I now work in London as an Account Executive in the advertiting industry.

Teaching Experience:
I tutored English to students after completion of my degree, and I tutored Journalism during my studies.

Tutoring Approach:
I believe every student needs to have a different approach, based on their personality, their educational needs and their capabilities, and I strive to reach this level with each student. I like to challenge my students, but still within realms of their abilities. I like to have a positive teaching environment, because if the student it relaxed and comfortable, they will find it easier to learn and progress.
