My name is Susie, I am 49 years old, married and have 2 children. I have recently moved to West Sussex having lived and worked in London for 30 years.

Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching English (including ESOL, EFL and Literacy) for twelve years, preparing learners from pre-entry to Level 2 and key stages 1 to 3 and GCSE for external examinations. About Carly:
I am twenty-four year old primary school teacher. I am originally from Toronto, Canada and have spent the last year teaching in Glasgow and the year previous to that at Teacher's college in Glasgow at The University of Strathclyde. I enjoy reading, bike riding, running, and out activities. I thrive in any type of environment and am quite adaptable to any situation I am put in. I spent the majority of my childhood as a competitive figure skater where I learned the skills of teamwork and hardwork. Teaching Experience:

Tutoring Approach:
In regards to tutoring I structure my lessons much like I would a classroom lesson. I like it to be interesting, interactive, and engaging as well as informative. With tutoring however, more material can be covered in a lesson or less material based on the learner. As well i find it important to meet with the tutee first to gain some background into their education, difficulties and learning style. Therefore, lessons can be based to gain maximum learning. I believe in a relaxed, comfortable tutoring environment where the learner is keen to participate and keen to ask questions.

About Joanna:

I have been teaching for three years in Primary Schools. I have experience of working across the Primary phase. I trained for three years gaining experience in a variety of educational settings.

I have always enjoyed the study of languages and have a degree in Classical languages from University College London.

Teaching Experience:
I have tutored students from primary school to university level in Maths, Latin and Greek. This includes preparing students for exams and tests.

Tutoring Approach:
I try to structure my sessions between the core skills of language learning: in classics this is crucially reading and writing. My other goal is to develop vocabulary and grammar in an accessible format.

In mathematics my approach is to illustrate how to break a problem down into its simplest form and proceed from there.

I was a trained peer supporter in secondary school where I aided younger students with their class/homework. There I also worked with teachers in finding and trying out fun ways to encourage students to learn and take part in community/social events. A key aspect of the job was to provide support for any students with any social issues.

Tutoring Approach:
I believe that everyone learns best with different methods be it taking notes or practically taking part, therefore I like to adapt my teaching methods to best suit each learner.
