       Great KS3 Series,

I have two daughters, neither of whom are what you might describe as keen students. Having arrived from outside the UK they were very behind in their school french so I bought this series in an attempt to help them get up to date. As a parent who has spent a small fortune on books of this type I wasn't expecting a great deal, but I was actually pleasantly surprised by this series. It works very systematically through the french that you need to know, and this workbook, which includes exercises to complete based on what is in the other books in the series, is well laid out and helps to highlight any knowledge gaps. Not only that, but miracle of miracles, my children actually enjoy completing it.The other french book that runs alongside it includes a CD ROM that plays the various french phrases, and these are then reinforced by the work in the workbook.One thing to note is that although this is a KS3 book it does start from the beginning, with numbers, days of the week, etc. This might be good revision if you have a slightly more advanced student, and is great for those that need to catch up or who are new to the language.I would highly recommend this book.

Bought these for my 13 year old who says shes struggling with french, she's not, she just thinks she is, imposter syndrome i think they call it, any way, she says that they look good and that she will use them, more than i expected, so yeah :Dits starts off with numbers and the usual greetings so this basically goes from the start of your french experience all the way up to GCSE, sweet.

i’m so happy with the quality of this product. of course i wasn’t expecting it to be in perfect condition, corners of the book were slightly curled but apart from that it’s good. no writing inside either :))

I am sixty and learning French via an online app and I found this book useful to test my knowledge but also help clarify certain rules.

An excellent book, well presented and straightforward. It is many years since I took French "O" level, and was pleasantly surprised that much of the vocabulary, useful phrases and sentence construction came back. The study guide is also helpful, and I think the whole series is very good value for money. Fortunately I can do the exercises without the complications of having to use the computer.Now that dates me!The publishing company were exceptionally helpful when I dealt with them.

Trying to freshen up my high school French whilst being stuck at home and this is a good book.Exercises are well explained and the solutions at the back of the book.Would buy again.
